Monday, February 8th, the whole family took my car to Toyota to get new tires and oil changed. We left it there and we all rode together to get our H1N1 shots. The girls get their second dose next month. Daddy and I didn't do the shots, we did the new way of sniffing it up the nose. Pretty neat! We came home and Daddy went to work. It rained all day today.
Tuesday, Meagan is getting her first tooth in! So exciting! I felt it and then looked in her mouth and saw it. I did the same thing to Natalie, but she doesn't have anything yet! I bet she will within the next week or so. Meagan also likes to rock while she is sitting. I call it her dancing moves because she will do it to music to. I play a little game with the girls by acting like a dog and I say 'Arff' 'Arff' and Natalie just loves it. Meagan likes it to, but Natalie will do little giggles from it.
Wednesday, we talked to Opa on the webcam. The girls like to do that, they just look at it! It was good to talk with Opa. I love watching the girls play together, Meagan usually still takes the toys from Natalie, but Natalie now holds her ground and takes the toy back. It is so funny!!! Daddy gave both girls a bath tonight and while he was doing that he said that Natalie made the 'ma' sound like Meagan makes all the time. Thought that was sweet!
Thursday, I have been showing the girls this week how to hit to blocks together and that it makes a noise. This morning Meagan decided she would do it! It was awesome, she did such a great job!! I just know she will be clapping soon! Natalie observes her doing it, so she will be doing it soon to. Natalie seems to always get things about a week and a half after Meagan, but sometimes Natalie will do sometime before Meagan, like pee-a-boo, Natalie learned to do that way before Meagan did. It will eventually even out. Grandma came over tonight to play with the girls. Daddy came home, so I went to Schlotzsky's to get us all dinner. Came home and we all ate together. Grandma stayed and helped put the girls to sleep!
Friday, we called a heater company to come by the house because our heater has not been working correctly, so a guy came by to fix that, which he did! Yay!! While he was here, Susan, Grammy and Trey stopped by to bring me lunch and to play with the girls. They even gave the girls an Eric Carly ring toy to play with. They loved it! Heater guy left and then Kelly, a friend from my twins group, came by to give me my twins shirt. She was just running by doing some errands. Susan, Trey and Grammy stayed for a little while. It was so good to have some company! After they left, the girls pasted out. They were so tired! They took a good nap! The Winter Olympics started tonight, so this is the girls first Olympic experience! :)
Saturday, I took care of the girls this morning and put them down for a nap. I got ready to run some errands and Daddy was going to take care of the girls while I was gone. I got in my car and it wouldn't start! :( So I had to take Daddy's car. I opened up savings accounts for the girls and they gave me free piggy banks! After a couple of errands, I came home. We jump started my car and it worked! We watched the Olympics a little and packed the girls bag. We headed to Grandma's house and she played with them for a little bit. Aunt Celeste, Uncle Kelly and Cade came over and we visited for a little bit. Daddy, the girls and I were going to go to Gus and Kourtney's to visit them, Adriane and Demetri, but my car didn't start again! I need a new battery!! I called Gus and they came over to Grandma's instead. Adriane finally got to meet Meagan and Natalie. It was so good to see her and Demetri!! They stayed for a little bit and Demetri, Gus and Cade played ball for a little bit. They all headed out and we got the girls feed and ready for bed. Grandma fed Meagan and Aunt Celeste fed Natalie. Grandma handed out Valentine's gifts early, she gave the girls a book each, a sock monkey each, some clothes and candy (which is for Daddy and me). Cade and Daddy had fun playing with a ball and slinky that he got. We (Celeste, Kelly, Cade, Grandma, Daddy and I) ate a yummy dinner, tacos and enchiladas!! It was good to visit with everyone and to play with Cade!!! He is such a sweet cousin to the girls!! He calls them 'Babies.' Meagan and Natalie spent the night and Daddy and I headed home. We got my car to start again!
Sunday, Valentine's Day and the girls seven month birthday, Meagan and Natalie spent the morning at Grandma's with Grandma, Celeste, Kelly and Cade. Aunt Celeste said that Cade kept giving the girls hugs. He is so sweet to them. While the girls were there, Daddy and I at brunch at IHOP for our Valentine's Day celebration. We had fun. My car wouldn't start again, but hopefully we will get that taken care of this week. I talked to Oma and Opa and wished them a Happy Valentine's Day. We drove up to Grandma's and spent the day playing with Cade and the girls. While they all napped, I helped Grandma clean up her garage and Daddy put together a slide and swing for Cade and the girls to play on. Cade loved the slide!! Cade would push Meagan and Natalie in the swing. Daddy and Cade played ball together, while Grandma, the girls and I went for a walk in the neighborhood. The weather was just perfect today, until this afternoon, the wind started blowing really hard. Grandma and I fed the girls their first fruit this afternoon and it was bananas. They seemed to love them! I will start feeding them fruits for breakfast now. We played some more with Cade and everyone ate dinner. Celeste and Kelly came back home. Cade gave the girls little Valentine's and each a cool toy to play with. We said goodnight and we headed home. We had a great Valentine's Day!!

ReplyDeleteDon't forget that Cade can also call them by their names and knows which "babie" is which! He loves them sooooo much! Everytime he sees their pictures he looks at me and asks, "Babies?"
