Our Trip to Lufkin

Friday, Aug. 5th, I packed for all of us and took the girls to Grandma LaLa's and met Grandma and Daddy there. We went ahead and had dinner before we headed out. Daddy, the girls and I arrived in Lufkin around 8:30pm and went straight to Granny's house. The girls were so happy to be there and be out of the truck. We got to visit with Cody, Chris, Granny, Grandad, Carolyn and Mike. The girls were being so funny chasing each other and crawling on the ground acting like puppies and kittens. They were having too much fun jumping over pillows and giving Chris High Fives. We stayed there until about 10pm, which was late, but we were having fun. Cody rode to his house with us and we got to visit with Grammie, Dana and Alexis for a little bit. Grammie got them each a pink dress in Greece and she also found tons of Dana and Cody's old books and stuffed animals for the girls to play with. Cody gave them a huge fish to play with and they sat on it right away to watch some TV, it was really cute. We didn't get the girls down until about midnight, they were just loving all the attention.
Saturday, we got up and the girls got to play with Grammie for a little bit and color. Natalie loved reading with Grammie and Meagan liked to color. That is what they choose to do for the majority of the time we were there. They also liked playing on everybodies phones. About 10:30am, we took the girls to IHOP to eat with Granny, Grandad, Dana and Cody. We had a good time talking and visiting. We left there and followed Dana and Cody back to their house and the girls got to play, read and color again. While the girls ton a nap, I stayed at the house and visited with Grammie and Dana, while Daddy went with Cody and Chris to do something fun. They all came back and then Dana headed out to go back to San Antonio. Daddy and I took the girls to visit at Granny's again with everyone over there. We followed Carolyn to look at cousin Jenny's new house. It was beautiful! We then said bye to her and then ate dinner at Cotton Patch with Grandad. The girls were very busy there. Then we all went to Wal-Mart, so Grandad could buy the girls some toys. He got them some toy laptops, a phone and a letter drawer. Daddy and I got them some helmets for when they ride a bike and some stickers. We told Grandad Thank You (Natalie says it really good now and Meagan is getting better) and Goodbye. We went back over to Grammie's and huge out. After the girls were in bed, Daddy, Cody and I got to play Balderdash together. It was fun!
Sunday, we just hung out at Grammie's for a while in the morning and played with the stuffed animals and books again. Around lunch time, Daddy, Cody, the girls and I went to eat Mexican food. We ran into Daddy's cousin Jason, Nicole and Claire and got to talk to them for a little bit. It was good to see them! After lunch, we went over to Granny's house to visit one last time with Grandad, Granny, Chris, Carolyn and Mike before we had to head back home. The girls were entertaining us again, having fun putting on Uncle Cody's shoes. We said bye to everyone and headed back to Grandma LaLa's house to visit with her a little. Daddy went to work for a little bit and Grandma left to go to Great Grandpa's, so I fed the girls there and when Daddy got back we went for a swim. Then we headed home, so we could unpack everything. Good trip!!
