Thursday, June 6th, I took the girls to school and then after school, we went to the library for a little bit and picked out some more books. Then we decided to go to Spoons to have some yogurt. Then we came home and did some crafts and colored in the coloring books and we picked up the house a little. When Daddy got home, he brought in a huge surprise!! He brought in the inflatable waterslide that we just ordered for the girls, for this summer and for their birthday party. Daddy set it up outside and we all played on it without water. It was fun! We had a good family evening.
Friday, Marcia came over in the morning with Tina to look at our house because we have hired her to start cleaning it, yay! They both seem really nice! Then the girls and I headed over to the splashpad for a twins play date. Melissa was there with her girls already and then we showed up. We were the first people there, so we got the water going. We had a pretty good turn out, Amber and her family came, Julie and her girls and Alicia and her gang. I think that is it, we had a good time. Natalie and Meagan actually liked getting splashed this time by the big bucket and everyone played with the chalk. Good times!! After the splashpad, Julie and her girls, Alicia and her crew and then us, all met at Freddy's to have lunch and visit. Everyone got ice cream to. We had a good time!! Then we all went our separate ways and went to our own houses. Daddy came home and we ordered our Fresh Beat Band Concert tickets, yay!! Then we all went to Downtown Bryan to First Friday and we ate at the Longhorn Tavern and then we went to watch some of Madagascar 3 in a park there outside. It was neat. We didn't stay very long, but we got to watch some of the movie. Then we came home and got the girls ready for bed and then we all played the Disney game for a little bit together.
Saturday, I packed for Fredericksburg and then Daddy watched the girls and took them to a movie 'Epic', while I went to Crystal's baby shower at Dara's house. It was good to see her and she got lots of goodies!! It was a fun time! I headed out around 1ish and came home and finished packing. Daddy and the girls came back from the movie and from playing in the arcade. They had a fun time and Daddy had to experience the restroom with the girls a lot he said. Too funny! We told Daddy bye and gave him hugs and kisses. Then us girls headed to Fredericksburg to Oma and Opa's house. We hung out at the house for the evening and ate dinner there. Opa and Opie were working out in the field with the hay. Good day!
Sunday, Opa, Oma, the girls and I all got ready for church and we rode into town. We got to church and the girls did an awesome job, they colored pretty much the whole time. After church, walked into the older church where they were baptized and took some pictures. That was cool! Then we went to eat at Mr. Gatti's Pizza and it was at a new building. It was nice, but boy it was crowded right after church. Oma played some games with the girls and then they got to each pick out a prize. They got a big pen and a pink bracelet. We came home afterwards and played. Opa and Opie were out in the field again working on the hay. Around 5ish we all left and went to Betty Ann's house to celebrate Bernice's birthday. So we got to hang out with my Aunts and Uncles on Oma's side of the family. It was nice to get to do that. The girls played with some of the old toys Tara and I played with when we were little. It was a good day. We left there around 9ish and came home.
Monday, I took the girls over to Omie and Opie's to visit with Omie. We got there around 11, and it was close to lunch, so we decided to go to Church's Chicken to get some chicken for lunch. Omie rode with us and she ran in to get some. Then we went back to Omie and Opie's and ate some lunch. We stayed for a while and the girls got to play with all the old toys in the utility closet and then I also got out some puzzles and coloring books for them to color in. The girls are really starting to entertain themselves and letting me get to visit when I got places. So I got to talk to Omie a bunch, while they had fun playing. They love to play on Omie's exercise bike, just like Tara and I did when we were little, so funny! After we left Omie's, we drove to Oma and Opa's and then Oma, the girls and I rode back into town to go swimming at the new Fredericksburg City Pool. It was nice and relaxing. The girls had fun swimming with their puddle jumpers on. We had a good time! Then we came home and ate dinner. Opa and Opie worked long and hard today with the hay!! We didn't see much of them today.
Tuesday, Oma, the girls and I got up and ready. We told Opa bye and we headed out to San Antonio to Fiesta Texas to meet up with Alicia, Olivia, Elizabeth and Andrew there. We parked right next to them. We all walked up to the gate together and waited for the park to open. We had such a great time and there weren't any lines for any of the kiddie rides. It was perfect. The kids got to ride the little roller coaster over and over. They drove little cars, rode and up and down Cowboy ride, they took some pictures with Bugs Bunny, Scooby Doo and Sylvester the cat. They rode the carrosel over and over, which Natalie just loved. We rode some swings and had fun on an indoor Scooby Doo ride. Rode a school bus ride and the big Ferris wheel. Then we let all the kids play one game, where you win everytime, so all the kids got a stuffed animal. Meagan picked an orange Lion and Natalie picked a blue Duck. Then we all ate lunch at a Pizza restaurant. That was fun! Then we walked to ride two more rides on the other side of the park. As we were leaving, we went into a shop and Oma bought Natalie and Meagan each a batman pen. We all left the park together and we gave hugs and told Alicia, Olivia, Elizabeth and Andrew bye. Oma, the girls and I headed back to Fredericksburg to Oma and Opa's house. The girls slept the whole way back, they were pretty tired. We had such a good time!! What a great experience. The rest of the day/evening we just hung out at Oma and Opa's house.
Wednesday, the girls and I went over to Holly and Mitchell's house in Johnson City today. We got to visit with Holly, Will, Brady, Luke and Luke's friend, Justin. Luke and Justin played with the girls for a little while and let them play their video games, while I visited with Holly and she made lunch (a really good lunch) for us. We had a good time and it was so good just to visit all day, instead of just a little bit. Natalie and Meagan even played with some of the boys old toys and old golden books. We stayed there until around 3:45pm and then we drove by Heather's house to say hi. She was busy, so we just talked for a second and waved at her kids. We headed back to Oma and Opa's, but stopped to get some milk at Weinheimer and Sons in Stonewall. We also got some ice cream there. Then we made it home and we played outside and played some t-ball. We watched Opa and Opie working out in the field's for a little bit. The girls enjoyed coloring the cars book and princess book I got them the other day at Wal-greens. We have had a great week in Fredericksburg so far!! :)
