Riding On Tara and Jason's Boat!

Thursday, June 20th, Daddy took the girls to swimming lessons today and the girls were so excited about that.  I went to the dentist and Daddy took the girls to school and then ran an errand in Bryan.  He picked up Chick-fil-a for us to eat for lunch together and then he headed out to work.  I picked up the girls from school and then we came home.  A little while later, Kourtney came over with Cooper and Otto to visit and play.  We had a good time, Cooper was having fun running around and Otto was sleepy.  Such cute boys.  Kourtney and I talked and then around 6ish, Daddy and Gus came home with Wings-N-More to eat.  We all ate dinner together and visited.  Then all the kids were getting tired, so Gus and Kourtney headed out.  So glad they got to come over and visit!!!
Friday, I took the girls to swimming lessons and Meagan got to get into the big pool with a life jacket on today, so she got to be by Natalie for a little bit.  They were both excited about that.  After swimming lessons, we came home and Alicia and her crew were already there waiting on us.  They came in to play for a little bit while we decided on where we were going to eat for lunch.  The girls enjoyed coloring like always! :)  Andrew played with the toys.  We decided to go eat at Wolfies, so we all left and ate lunch there.  There was a little playing area, so the kids had fun in there.  We ate and then Alicia got all the kids each a sticky bug.  Then we all left and went to the mall to get a cookie for each kid.  We walked around a little bit and I saw Missy and Patsy there.  We all then went into the Justice store and I got the girls each a PetShop kitty and they love them!!  We told Olivia, Elizabeth and Andrew bye and then I took the girls to Toys-R-Us to find a birthday present for Connor.  I got the girls each a birthday present to and we read a couple of books there.  We came home and relaxed for a little bit and then ate dinner.  I got the girls dressed up in Princess attire, Natalie was Ariel and Meagan was Rapunzel.  Daddy came home right before we left, so we got to talk to him and then when we walked out the door to leave, Melissa S. was driving by, so we talked to her for a little bit.  Then we drove up to the entrance of the subdivision to take some pictures by the Castle Entrance.  Alicia met us there with Olivia and Elizabeth, they were dressed up to!!  The girls were all a little tired, so we took the best pictures we could take then.  We got some good ones for sure!  Then we told them bye and we came home to spend some time with Daddy and play games.  Then it was bed time!

Saturday, we all got up early to get ready for the drive to Austin.  We made one pit stop and then kept driving.  We met up with Tara, Jason, Oma and Opa at Lake Austin to take a ride in Jason and Tara's new boat.  Tara got the girls into the boat and they sat with Oma in the front.  Then Daddy got in and then Opa and myself and then Jason got us pushed off and then he climbed in.  It was a really nice boat.  This is the first time the girls got to take a boat ride like this!!  They had constant smiles on their faces and held on to Oma's hands.  It was so much fun, I love boat rides to.  We spent the whole day riding around and then taking breaks to get into the water for some swimming time.  We had a blast!!  We even saw a man on Water Jets flying in the air.  We pulled up to a restaurant in the boat and decided to eat a late lunch.  It had a play ground, so the girls played a little bit.  Daddy also played the crawl game with them a couple of times, but they didn't win a stuffed animal.  Oh well! ;)  After lunch, we drove around for a while longer and swim one more time.  What a fun day!!  We got the boat out of the water and we all told Oma and Opa bye.  The rest of us went to Tara and Jason's house to get cleaned up and visit.  The girls also wanted to jump on the guest bed and have the radio on and dance.  They are too funny sometimes!! :)  Then we snacked a little and we told Tara and Jason bye!!  We had a great day with them!!  We stopped at Sonic in Manor for a late snack and then the girls fall asleep for the rest of the trip.  We got home a little before 11pm.
Sunday, we did things around the house and relaxed and played.  Daddy got up and painted the back porch, so it wouldn't be so slippery.  Yay!!  That will help at the birthday party for sure!  LaLa came over for a little bit and played 'Go Fish' with the girls.  Then it was time for me to take the girls to Connor's birthday party at the park/splashpad.  They had all sorts of things to play with out there, the girls had a great time, but we had to leave before it was over, because we had planned to eat dinner over at Michelle and Eddie's house.  The girls got to play with Tyler, Trevor and Tanner.  Tyler, Natalie and Meagan all went down the water slide.  And then Tyler, Trevor, Natalie and Meagan all played on the trampoline to.  They had a good time.  We all then went inside when Daddy came and then kids played in the back.  We all ate together and talked.  It was a nice time!!  We just love that family, they are so sweet and fun!  We came home around 9ish and we got the girls ready for bed.  What a fun weekend we had!!!
Monday, we took an easy day today and I got laundry done!!  In the afternoon, I decided to take the girls to a city pool that we haven't been to yet, Thomas Pool.  We stayed there from 5 to 6:45 swimming and playing.  We loved that pool, so much fun!!  The girls could touch the bottom easily, so they were just swimming away.  I was so impressed!!  Then they put their Puddle Jumpers on and Meagan said she wanted to go down the slide, so I waited at the bottom and she came shooting out.  It was funny!  She did it a couple more times and then Natalie decided she wanted to do it to.  They loved it!!  We swam some more and did the slide again and then it was time to leave.  I went to pick up some dinner and then we came home to eat.  Daddy came a little bit later and I got the girls ready for bed.  Daddy thought them how to play 'War' with the 'Go Fish' cards.  They were super tired, so we put them to bed.

Tuesday, I took the girls to swimming lessons and then we came home to get dressed and ready.  Alicia and her kiddos met us over at our house and they followed us to Brenham to the Airport Diner.  We all ate lunch and then got to watch an airplane take off!  Pretty cool!!  Then we drove to Blue Bell Ice Cream Factory to meet up with Kelly and her kids, Melissa S. and her girls, Monica and her girls and then a new lady in the twins group, Jen, her husband and three kids.  We took the tour and saw how ice cream sandwiches were made!!  The girls seemed to enjoy it, plus we all got free ice cream after the tour.  It was a fun time!  Then pretty much everyone meet us at LaLa's house to go swimming, it was Monica and her girls, Kelly and her kids and Melissa S. and her girls.  We had a good time!  Everyone left and then the girls and I hung out there while we waited for LaLa to come home.  Then we went out to eat with LaLa for some Mexican food and had a good time visiting.  Then we went back to LaLa's to drop her off and then we headed home to spend some time with Daddy playing games and then going to sleep.

Wednesday, we were just a little late to swimming lessons, but not that late, right when it started.  They both did really good in their lessons and then we came home to change.  I took the girls to the movies to see Monsters University.  It was really cute!  The girls seemed to enjoy it to!!  We ate lunch while we were watching the movie (brought my own food in) and then after the movie, we went over to Alicia's house, so Natalie and Meagan could play with Olivia, Elizabeth and Andrew.  They had a blast coloring, playing, spreading icing on cupcakes and sprinkles.  Then we had a birthday party for their stuffed animals, so each stuffed animal got a cupcake with a birthday candle.  We sang happy birthday and the kids blew out the candles.  It was really cute!  Then they played some more, while the Moms cleaned up.  Then we went outside to play with water balloons, so fun.  All the kids pretty much got naked and took the water hose on the trampoline and they were jumping around with the water hose.  They were having the time of their lives!  So much fun to watch!  They got off and then Alicia's mom came over and we met her.  We got cleaned up and helped clean and then it was time for us to go home to have dinner!!  We all ate dinner and then Daddy ate when he got home and spent some time playing with the girls and telling them stories.  We had a good, relaxing night!  What fun we have had!!!
