Visiting Amy in Dallas Area

Monday, July 21st, the girls and I woke up super early and we drove all the way to Grapevine, TX.  We went to Legoland Discovery Center and we met up with Amy, Lauren and Ryan there.  It was such a neat place and the kids loved playing together.  We ate lunch there and played some more.  Then we left and we went over to Amy's house and the kids played outside together.  Trey got home and we all ate dinner together.  Kids were more interested in playing.  We spent the night there and it was fun catching up!
Tuesday, Amy made breakfast for everyone and the kids played some more.  Then we went to the McKinney Library and went to a children's program there.  It was cute and I think each kid got a turn to do something at the front.  Lauren and Ryan checked out some books and then we made our way to a place to eat called The Pantry.  It was really cute and the food was great!  McKinney has a beautiful downtown area.  We went back to Amy's house and we packed up.  We gave them hugs goodbye, we had such a good time!  We drove home and we decided to play outside.  The girls were putting beanie boos everywhere outside and then driving the barbie car to get them.  There was a time when Natalie was playing with some of the stuffed animals on the grass and Meagan didn't see her and kind of ran over her a little bit with the Barbie car.  That was a little scary, but everyone was okay, thank goodness.  Daddy came home shortly after that and we spend some time with him.  Good to see him!
Wednesday, we played at the house and then the girls and I went to eat at Cracker Barrel.  We were supposed to meet up with my friend Susan, but she didn't get to make it, so we just ate and looked in the shop.  Then we went to the Bryan Library and checked out some books.  We then came home and played and I wrote Thank you cards from their birthday party.  Daddy came home and we got to hang out with him and play before bedtime.
Thursday, the girls and I played some board games and then we ran some errands.  Then we drove to LaLa's house and Julie, Addison and Jordyn came to swim with us!  We had a lot of fun!  After Julie left, the girls played at LaLa's for a little bit and then we followed Daddy to Boneheads to eat dinner by the fountain.  We love eating by the fountain because the girls can toss rocks or flowers in the fountain.
Friday, we stayed home this morning and we played games and colored.  We went to Wal-Mart to pick something up and then came back home.  Later, we met up with Crystal, Caden, Carlee and Crystal's mom at Chick-fil-a to eat, visit and play.  The girls had fun playing with Caden and they also gave the girls some birthday presents.  It was a glass tea set that you could paint yourself and some Littlest Pet Shop little moving animals.  So cute!  We had a good time!  They will be moving soon, we will sure miss them!!  We came home and girls got to play video games with Daddy and I cleaned up a little bit.
Saturday, the girls and I met up with Joanna, Haven and Harrison at the Traditions pool to see how the pools were.  It was great!!  We had a great time!  Jill, Ally and Drew were there too with her mom and sister in law.  I loved it!!  We even ordered some food and ate lunch there.  The girls did a great job swimming too!  After we left there, we came home and Daddy helped us paint the new teapots Caden gave the girls.  Oh my gosh, they had fun with that.  This afternoon, we went to another pool in town, Thomas Pool and met up with Julie, Aaron, Sadie, Maegan, Addison and Jordyn.  Daddy was with us too!!  We had a good time!!  Fun to get together with our good friends!  After swimming, we came home for dinner and Grandad came over.  We visited with him and we watched a movie on TV.  Fun swimming day!
Sunday, Daddy, the girls and I went to church and then we came home.  While I packed for Lori's house, Daddy and the girls played board games and video games.  We said bye to Daddy and that we love him and then Natalie, Meagan and I headed to Leander to Lori, Paul and Madisyn's house.  Once we got there, the girls played with Madisyn and her toys right away.  I talked with Paul and Lori and helped a little with dinner.  We all ate some dinner and the kids played and took at bath and got ready for bed.  Madisyn had a pet Sugar Glider, which was cool because we just read a book about Sugar Gliders.  We were having fun playing with that.  Then it was bed time.  Took the kids a little time to go to sleep!  Fun day!
