Aunt Terrell is in Town!!

Monday, April 12th (Aunt Terrell's Birthday and Grammie's), the girls and I played in the morning and then at lunch time we drove to a church nearby and put the girls on the Mother's Day Out waiting list for September. Then we drove to Downtown Bryan and ran an errand and then I put the girls in their stroller and we walked around Downtown for a little bit. Beautiful Day!!! Once we got home, we played some more. When Daddy got home, he played with the girls on his shoulders. We were playing little peek-a-boo games and while Daddy had Meagan on his shoulders, they ran into our living room light. Meagan just laughed, it was so funny. It is still making me laugh!
Tuesday, we played at home all day and then in the afternoon, we went to Grandma's house and we walked with her to pick up Cade from daycare. On the way there we talked to Melanie K., Melissa M. and Ann M. Cade was so happy to see us! On the way back to Grandma's we talked to Jaime and Carter. Once we got settled at her place, Aunt Celeste and Aunt Terrell came home. Aunt Terrell got to play with Cade and the girls. We all ate dinner and then the kids got a bath together and the girls went to sleep. They stayed the night. We had a good time.
Wednesday, (Natalie and Meagan's Nine Month Birthday) I had a dentist appointment, so Terrell watched the girls and Cade. They went to the library for story time. I headed to Grandma's after my dentist appointment and I helped Terrell watch Cade and the girls. Daddy and Aunt Celeste came by during lunch. While the girls took their afternoon nap, we took Cade outside and he played in the little pool. He had fun! Once the girls were up, we brought them outside and took some pictures for their birthday! :) We all ate dinner together and then Daddy headed to get Cade a birthday present and I came home and put the girls to bed. Fun Day!! Meagan even learned to clap today, thought that was neat since it was her nine month birthday. Natalie has started doing a new smile, squinting her eyes, I love it!! She is probably trying to smile like her Mommy! :)
Thursday, (Cousin Cade's 2nd Birthday) I took the girls to an outdoor play date with the twins group at Veteran's Park. The girls first time out there! They stayed in their stroller mostly because they are still too young to play out there, but they had fun watching the bubbles! The girls took a nap in the car while I ran some errands. I even went to a spraying car wash place and they slept through it all! We drove around just looking at houses and then came home. In the afternoon, we went to Grandma's house and met Terrell there. We went to pick up Cade from daycare and on the way there, saw Great Uncle Bill and on the way back we talked to Great Aunt Margie. Aunt Celeste came home and had to get Cade because he wanted to play on the neighbors jungle gym. Uncle Kelly, Grandma and Daddy came over and we had a good dinner and ice cream cake for Aunt Terrell and Cade's birthdays. The girls and Cade played in the present that we got Cade, of course it involved balls! :) It was a blow up thing that you drop balls on the top where there is a hole and the balls swirl down. Pretty neat toy!! We got the girls ready for bed and bathed at Grandma's and then Aunt Terrell rode with us back to our house to spend the night with us.
Friday, woke up early to go to the girls Nine Month Appointment and Aunt Terrell came with the girls and I this time. They didn't have to get any shots, but they did have to do a blood count and that is almost worst than a shot, but they got through it of course! Natalie weighed 18lbs. 10oz. and length was 29 1/2in. and Meagan weighed 19lbs. 14oz. and length was 29 3/4in. Doctor said that they looked great! We all came back to the house and rested. We all went out to eat for lunch at Cracker Barrel. When we got our food, Meagan decided that she wanted my plate, so before I could even think, she grabbed my plate and all my food went all over the floor. Cracker Barrel was nice though, they gave me another plate of food for free. My little Meagan, she is just so goofy, I love her! After lunch, Aunt Celeste met us there and we went to the Mall and then to Sam's, we were getting ready for Cade's birthday party. Came home and took care of the girls. They tried a biter biscuit for the first time. It was messy!! Daddy came home later and we all played and we all went to bed early.
Saturday, we got up early and drove to Pump It Up for Cade's 2nd Birthday Party. Cade was so excited and had a great time. We even took the girls in some jumpy things. Got to see Cody and Grammie there to! :) It was the first time The Blackburn's got to meet Natalie and Meagan. The party was really cute!! After the party we meet up with Terrell's friend, Jill and her mom. We all went to a house that Celeste and Kelly might buy, not sure yet, but it was a cute house. We said bye to Aunt Terrell, Jill and her mom and then The Blackburn's followed us back to Grandma's house. Daddy stayed there with the girls and Cade, while everyone else went out to eat for lunch. The Blackburn's headed out and we hung out at Grandma's house the rest of the day. Grandma and I did get to go see Allison in her prom dress. While I was doing that, Aunt Celeste and Uncle Kelly took the girls and Cade riding in the wagon. Later on, Daddy, the girls and I headed back home. We had a great, fun, long, busy day.
Sunday, today was a lazy day with the four of us. We didn't do much, but hung out and relax. The girls did try oatmeal for the first time and we also fed them Gerber Spaghetti, so they had a meat for the first time to. Our girls were having diaper issues today, especially Meagan!
Here are some good things this week: Natalie's favorite book to play with right now is a Santa book that says 'HOHOHO' when you open the back page. She will do it over and over again. So cute! She is also trying really hard to get to crawling. She tries to nod her head and kick her legs and out stretches her arms. She will get it soon. She is definitely getting stronger each day! Meagan has a lovey. It is a lion that she sleeps with every night. In the morning when I go in to get her up, she is always sitting up playing with her lion. Sometimes Meagan will be sitting up in her crib and she will just lean her stomach over her legs and fall asleep that way holding her lion. This week with Cade, Meagan would always want to play with what Cade had, so Cade would always have to say 'Stop it Meagan' or 'Meaggggannnn.' She is something else. We had a great week as always!!
