Thursday, May 10th, I took the girls to school a little early and I got to eat muffins with the girls because it was Muffins With Mom morning at school. They gave me each a gift of a frame with Natalie and Meagan's picture in each one. I love them!! I left and ran some errands. I got the girls after school and we just came home to play. We played with the playdough mostly.
Friday, I took the girls to the splashpad in the morning and there were some older kids there for a field trip, so the girls played with the water and had snack. We then had to come back home and I packed during their rest time, which they played instead and Meagan pooped and Natalie got it in some places in their room, so I had to clean that up. I was not a happy camper. I finally got to finish packing and then Daddy came home. We headed out of town and we stopped in Bastrop to eat dinner at Schlozsky's and then we continued driving. We made it to San Antonio safe and sound and me met up with Grammie at the Hyatt on the Riverwalk. She took us to our room and it was like Santa Claus came to visit the girls because had decorated one of the beds with clothes, colors, coloring books, books, My Little Ponies, balls, Mark books, bags, Lololoopie Dolls, etc. The girls were so excited, it was fun going through it all. It was so nice of Grammie to do that. She even made a craft for me, a cross. She had wine waiting for us and some nachos. It was nice. A little while after we got there and got settled, Celeste, Kelly, Cade and Hollan came and we all went into their room to watch Cade get all of his presents and Hollan had some to. Daddy and I took Cade and the girls up to the rooftop pool to look at it and look at the view. Then we went back to their room. Grammie's room was joined to theirs, so we hung out in the suite part until Dana, her dog (Chloe), Terrell and Bryan showed up. It was pretty late when they got there, so we talked for a little bit and then got the girls ready for bed. It was the first time for the girls to sleep with us in the hotel beds, it was sweet. Natalie slept with me and Meagan slept with Daddy. We put cushions on the floor for them just in case, but they did great. What a fun night!
Saturday, we got up and got dressed and then went across the hall to Grammie's room and Uncle Cody was there, but Grammie, Cody and Celeste left to go to Dana's graduation. The rest of us went down to the lobby and ate a breakfast buffet, it was Kelly, Cade, Hollan, Terrell, Bryan, Daddy, Meagan, Natalie and myself. It was pretty good. The girls pancakes took forever to get though. I took Cade, Natalie and Meagan down to where the fountain was located and I gave them each a quarter to throw in the fountain and make a wish. It was sweet. Daddy, Bryan and Terrell met us there and then we walked to the Children's Museum. The kids had such a good time getting in a fake plane, playing with water and bubbles, going grocery shopping, making crafts, racing lego cars, playing with blocks, etc. There was so much to do there. We probably stayed for about two hours. After that, we walked to the Alamo to take pictures in front of it and then we got snow cones for the kids. We went back to the hotel to rest a little bit and get ready. Grandad came by to say hi for a little bit. Once we were all dressed, we all followed each other to Dana's cocktail graduation party and then we had a nice dinner at the same place, Silo. We ate with Grammie, Grandad, Chris, Bryan, Terrell, Celeste, Kelly, Cade, Hollan, Cody, Dana, her boyfriend, Nick and his family. It was a great dinner, all so yummy!! The kids did pretty good to, they had the whole room to run around in. They all played on the phones at one point. After dinner, we came back to the hotel and hung out for a little bit and then we all went to bed. Congratulations Dana! We are so proud of her!
Sunday, Mother's Day, I got up and dressed and started packing and fed the girls some breakfast. I took the girls to Grammie's room and they played with Cade and the dog, Chloe. They were having so much fun and Cade was laughing so hard at Bryan. Terrell and Bryan gave me a Mother's Day card, which was so nice. We gave one to Grammie to. When we were all ready, we went down to the lobby and ate at the same restaurant for bunch again and it was expensive!! Grandad, Dana, Chris and Nick met us there. I also got to take some Mother's Day pictures with the girls before we ate. We had a great meal and talked and Dana and Cody gave me a Mother's Day card to with a family picture in it. That was so sweet. Grammie got the girls some dessert. It was then time for everyone to leave. We went back to the hotel room and we said bye to everyone, Cade was so sad to see everyone leaving. Daddy, the girls and I didn't leave just yet, I still wanted to walk on the riverwalk a little bit and take some pictures. Then we went back to the hotel and loaded up and headed back home. We unloaded once we got home and I noticed that we had butterflies now in our little butterfly holder. The butterflies came out of their cocoons while we were out of town. We gave them some food and looked at them and then we went over to LaLa's to wish her a Happy Mother's Day!! We gave her a card and a casserole holder. Daddy cooked some hot dogs and I made a salad and fruit salad and we ate with LaLa. Then Daddy went swimming with the girls. It was a great Mother's Day. Daddy also then gave me my Mother's Day cards. Loved them. We came home! Great weekend! Lisa called to ask if she could come visit us Monday to Wednesday and we said sure, so we will see her tomorrow!
Monday, Natalie and Meagan's 34 month birthday, I took the girls to a park to met up with some twin moms, Alicia and Marcy with their kids and we fed the ducks. That was fun! We even saw ducklings. We played at the park some and I talked to the other moms. We had a good time. Then it was lunch time, so we were leaving and Alicia gave the girls a Dora book and a magic marker Toy Story book, that was so nice of her. We then went to Wendy's and got some food to eat at home. After lunch we just played and Lisa got here. She forgot her bag at home, so we made a trip to Walmart to shop for her and for something for dinner. We came home and did the slip-n-slide outside in the backyard. We came in and we started dinner. We were just starting to eat and Daddy came home, yay!! The rest of the night we just hung out and kept the girls up a little later. Lisa gave them a bath and then bed time!
Tuesday, Aunt Tara's birthday, Opie's Birthday and Great Aunt Janet's Birthday, Lisa took the girls to school with me and then we came home and she helped me tag some things for my twins garage sale coming up. Then we went to see a movie 'The Lucky One' and it was actually pretty good. Then we went to pick up the girls from school and went to 'Must Be Heaven' to have lunch and dessert. The girls got a milkshake to share, but Natalie pretty much drank all of it. We came home and then we drove to LaLa's house to get ready for the first day of swimming lessons this year at the Navasota pool. Daddy met us at the pool and Lisa took pictures of us during the lesson. It was fun. We then all went to LaLa's house and she made dinner for us. It was great! The girls played outside, it felt great outside, helped LaLa with feeding the birds and then laid in LaLa's bed with Daddy for a little bit watching TV. I got to call Tara and talk with her for a while for her birthday. We went home shortly after that. Girls stayed up late again, but they were having fun. Lisa read Meagan a story and Natalie just played around. It was a great day!
Wednesday, we hung out with Lisa this morning and then she came with us to Gymnastics and got to see what all the girls do in that class. We were having fun talking with the other moms and talking about our kids. We then left there and we went to Wings-N-More to have lunch together. She helped take them to the restroom for me, it was nice. We had a great lunch and then we came home. We said bye to Lisa because she was going back home. We just took it easy and then we are went to swimming lessons again and went by LaLa's house. It was a great visit with Lisa. She is such a big help!! At LaLa's, Daddy mowed her yard and he also helped the girls let our pet Butterflies go. Their names were Lilly, Betsy, HoHoHo, DaDa and LaLa. Name stayed on Daddies hand for a little bit and the rest flew away fast, I got to hold one and the girls got to touch some. It was fun having them as pets, easy to take care of. We said bye to LaLa and then we at at Wings-N-More again, LOL! Came home!
