Thursday, February 28th, I took the girls to school in the morning and then picked them up later. We came home to change their clothes because we were going to the Houston Rodeo to see The Zach Brown Band play. We went to get Daddy at LaLa's house and then we all rode down to Houston together, of course got stuck in traffic, yuck, but it was okay. We got there and then went inside to our seats to watch some of the rodeo part. The girls thought it was loud, so we went into the inside part and waited in line to get some thing to eat. After dinner, we went to watch some more of the rodeo and the little kids riding the sheep, then it was time for the Zach Brown Band to come on. Right before the concert there were fireworks and it surprised the girls and us. They really liked that part, even Meagan did! Then the concert started and Meagan and I were dancing in our seats, Natalie thought it was too loud, so her and Daddy walked around for a little bit. They came back to watch some more of the show and they enjoyed it to!! We had a great time! We even ran into Jay P. (Daddy's old step brother and friend). We left and came home. Late night tonight! (Aunt Tara had knee surgery today and she did great, yay).
Friday, today we had Olivia, Elizabeth, Andrew and Alicia over to play at the house. We had a good time playing inside and then playing in the backyard. Then we all got hungry, so we all went to Dairy Queen to eat some lunch. I got all the kids some ice cream after lunch and once we were all finished with that, we were leaving and Natalie wanted to ride in Alicia's car, so I took Olivia with Meagan and me and Alicia took Natalie with her, Andrew and Elizabeth. That was fun! Meagan really enjoyed having Olivia in the truck. Olivia talked the whole time, it was funny! We came back to our house and the kids played some more and then we went for a walk to the fountains and then walked back to the park to play a little bit. They are such a fun crew! They headed out and then Daddy came home and we ate some dinner and played together.
Saturday, we hung out at the house and I went to the old house to clean a little. When I got back to the new house, we all ate some lunch and Daddy was playing with the girls outside at the park. Then it was time to go to LaLa's house to visit. After LaLa's house, we went over to Steven, Crystal and Caden's house to have dinner with them and Kelly, Mike, their kids, Brandon and his kids. Natasha was getting her hair done, so we saw her later. We had a good time at dinner talking and the kids were playing. After dinner, we cleaned up and we all met up at the Texas Birthday Bash in Downtown Navasota. LaLa met us there to and we ran into Angie, Edward, Shayanne, Gus and Kourtney. The girls enjoyed playing in the hay and running around a statue and we would chase them. It was good to visit with everyone. We told everyone bye and LaLa walked back with us to the cars and we told her bye and goodnight. We came home and went to sleep!
Monday, we met up with Joanna, Haven and Harrison at the park to play and eat lunch. The kids enjoyed feeding a friendly squirrel and he loved their food. And for some reason, every kid had to go potty in the bushes, so silly. We said bye to them and then we headed to Alicia's house to play with Olivia, Elizabeth and Andrew. They had different colored sand to play with outside and a big ball to roll around inside of it. And Meagan jumped on the trampoline. Then we went inside and they played games and dolls. They have a pretty cool house with lots of fun things to do. We had to go and come home to get dressed for gymnastics class. I took them to gymnastics and they did great! They are such cute gym girls. We came home and LaLa came over with Terrell's wedding things. She only stayed a little bit and then Daddy watched the girls while I went to the Twins Meeting. It wasn't a long meeting, so after the meeting I went to the old house to get some things organized. Then I came home and helped Matt with some things around the house.
Tuesday, I took the girls to school, but only until noon. Then I picked them up and took them to Austin with me. On the way, we stopped at Buccee's to use the potty and get a snack. Then we drove to Terrell's wedding planners house to drop off Terrell's wedding dress and some other things for the wedding. The girls went into her house and straight for the play room. They played with her kids for just a little bit and then we left and drove to Round Rock to get the girls haircut at Snip-its. It was fun and their hair looked so cute. Then we went to a toy store and Meagan picked out a hola hoop and Natalie picked out a caterpillar to play with. Then we made our way to Aunt Tara's house and she was resting her knee. We visited with her and of course the girls had to jump on the guest bed. Then Jason got home, so then we all went to eat dinner at Casa Garica and Great Aunt Sandra met us there to. She gave me a birthday card and a cool picture frame with the girls pictures in them. I loved it. The girls were having fun visiting! We ate some good food to. We stayed there for a while and then it was time to say bye to Sandra. We went back to Tara and Jason's and gave the girls a bath and put on their pj's. We said bye to them and then the three of us headed back home. Daddy was up, waiting for us and he helped me put them to bed. So happy we made it home safely, one of my lights was out on the truck. We had a good day though!
Wednesday, today was a lazy day. We were tired! I got laundry done and we just played at the house all day. Daddy came home early and the girls and I left to meet up with Alicia and her crew and Marcy and her kids at Chick-fil-a for dinner. The kids had fun playing and then I took them to Awana. They always have such a good time there. Daddy and I did some things around the house, while they were at Awana. When I picked them up, they were so happy because they did their verses and got patches!! That is such a good program, helps with their confidence to! Good week.
