Happy 4th Birthday Girls!!!
Thursday, July 11th, I took the girls to school and I got a lot of things done around the house. After school, I picked up the girls and we came home and the microwave guy came over to fix the microwave, after he was done LaLa came over. We all went to the nail salon and we all got pedicures and Natalie and Meagan got manicures to for their birthday coming up. This was their first time to do this. Meagan was unsure, but liked it I think. Natalie while we were there asked when she could do it again. She liked the fact that it tickled her, silly girl. After our nails were done, we went over to Hobby Lobby for LaLa to pick out a couple of things and then she also got each girl two little animals. Natalie got a dog and a tiger. Meagan got a penguin and a unicorn. Gosh they love those animals. Then all of us went to eat dinner at Cotton Patch and Daddy met us there to eat. Then we left there to come home. We had a good time.
Friday, we ran a couple of errands in the morning and then we met up with Alicia, Olivia, Elizabeth, Andrew, Marcy, Katie and Brady at the Children's Museum. The kids had a great time playing and acting like cats, painting and playing with magnets. We stayed there until around 1pm I think, so we said bye to everyone and then I took the girls to eat lunch at Must Be Heaven, yummy. Then we left there and came home. I had a lot to do around the house to get ready for the party tomorrow. The girls and I also went to pick up their party balloons and when we got home, Daddy was home. He helped to set up everything outside, like the waterslide and bounce house, etc. After we were done, Oma, Opa and Huntleigh came over. We were so happy to see them and the girls played with Huntleigh for a long time. Daddy and I went to the grocery store for some last minute things and then we came back home to get all the kids to bed super late.
Saturday, Party Day, we got up and got dressed and started putting all the food out. I had to go pick up the cake from Monica, so I could take some pictures of the girls before everyone showed up. When I got back, Tara and Jason came and Tara started getting her fruit salad ready and then LaLa came and set out her veggies and all of her food that she brought. Oma was helping with the other food and tea and lemonade. Opa was helping Daddy outside with chairs and all the rest of the set up. It all looked great when it was done. I snapped a couple of pictures and then it was time for the party to start. So I had a table set up by the front door for all of our guest to put their fingerprint in a princess book I made. It ended up being a really cute idea! So I was in charge of that and I greeted everyone as they walked in. We had a great turn out!! All the people here were Mommy, Daddy, Natalie, Meagan, Oma, Opa, Huntleigh, LaLa, Tara and Jason, Tracy and Connor, Alicia, Olivia and Elizabeth, Joanna, Haven and Harrison, Buck, Jeanette and Chloe, Jessica, Cameron, Avery and Briella, Rihana, Matt, Nikki and Talli, Monica, Marcela and Vanessa, Lindsey and Abigail, Kody, Kayla and Kolton, Gus, Kourtney, Cooper and Otto, Steven, Crystal and Caden, Kelly, Celeste, Cade and Hollan, Eddie, Michelle, Tyler, Trevor and Tanner, Melissa, Avril and Zack, Harry, Tara, Halle and Champ. It was a good crowd! I think everyone had a lot of fun! So all the kids played outside on the waterslide, the bounce house, the swings, baby pool, sports equipment, using the water guns and water toys. It was a hot day, but we did it! The girls didn't do the waterslide after awhile because there were so many kids, but they still had fun eating and playing with other things and their friends. Some kids even got to play inside in the girls playroom. The food was yummy and we had plenty. After everyone was there and they all got to play a little bit, we went ahead and did the string Princess pinata and everyone got some candy in their bags. Then they played again or had a sucker and then it was time to sing Happy Birthday inside and do the cake and ice cream. The cake turned out so pretty and it was yummy to! Meagan blew out her four candles right away and Natalie it took a little longer. Funny! They were so happy, had huge smiles on their faces. So everyone had cake and ice cream and then played a little more. Then it was time to open the presents, which we had a lot of helpers for that part. :) Aunt Terrell and Uncle Bryan couldn't be here, but they sent a present. They gave the girls some puppets, Uncle Bryan drew them each a picture; he drew Natalie an Ariel and he drew Meagan a Cinderella. They also got them some play tattoos, a Cubs Book (more for Daddy), a finger printing art set, finger puppets and a puppet theater. Thad, Nyree, Natasha and Thaddeus were also not here, but they got the girls some princess shirts that had their names on them and some future college money. They got barbies and play-doh from Cameron, Avery and Briella, Cabbage Patch Kid Babies and Princess Puzzles from Cade and Hollan, bright colored shorts and a little giraffe and turtle from Tyler, Trevor and Tanner, Magical Learning Keypad and a Princess purse to color from Avril and Zack, Sofia the First sets and learning puzzles from Talli, Princess Dominos, Minnie Mouse Floor Puzzle and Minnie Mouse Memory Game from Marcela and Vanessa, Farm and Fairy Garden Stamps from Haven and Harrison, Glow Islate Dry Erase and two little Pet Shop sets form Kolton, Build and Decorate your own dollhouses from Halle and Champ, two princess puzzle sets from Huntleigh, Team Umizoomi Giant Coloring books and Target giftcards from Caden, Accessory set, Princess Wands and pink and yellow tutus from Chloe, a lot of Berenstain Bear Books from Rihana, Bubbles, Watering Cans and Four Books from Abigail, Poke a Dot bags, Pink Outfits, Ariel lunchbox, TinkerBell lunchbox, Two Kites, a Barbie Blanket and a Princess Blanket from Conner, Headbands, Discovery Kids Lemonade/Cookie Stand and Discovery Kits big Train to Color from Olivia and Elizabeth, Clothes, glove and ball sets, t-ball set and Princess Dress Up from Tara and Jason, Two Dresses and some money from Oma and Opa, Chalkboards with the girls names on them and all what they liked at four years old (such a cute idea) and little Princess Dolls from LaLa, the waterslide outside, Pearls, Money, TAG Reading Tool and Books and puzzle, The Fresh Beat Band CD's, coloring book and The Fresh Beat Band Concert Tickets for November from Mommy and Daddy. Other people that were not here, but gave a gift were Granny gave some money, Easton and Jackson gave some money and Trey and Melani gave them some pink bags with their names on them. After we opened all the gifts, then everyone started to leave. We had such a great time at the party. Rihana, Melissa, Avril, Zack, Kelly, Celeste, Cade, Hollan, Huntleigh, Tara and Jason, Oma, Opa and LaLa all stayed over after the party was over. We cleaned up a little and we visited. It was fun. After a little while, LaLa wanted to give the girls their surprize gifts. We had them close their eyes and had bikes sitting outside for them. She got everything that goes with the bikes, horns, baskets, helmets, knee pads, elbow pads and gloves. The girls wanted to get on them right away!! They loved them!! Daddy, Opa and Jason were helping them ride. They were so excited!! It was fun! Pretty soon after that Melissa, Avril and Zack headed out and then Rihana. Cade, Huntleigh, Natalie, Meagan and Hollan were all playing good together and playing video games and running around the house. Tara and Jason were getting ready to leave when Omie and Opie showed up, so they got to see them for a little bit and then Tara and Jason left. Omie and Opie had never been to the house before, so I showed them around. They told the girls happy birthday and gave them each a card with $5. We all visited together and the kids played. Daddy and Celeste left for a little bit to go check on Grandad, while the kids played we kind of cleaned up and messed with the waterslide. We visited and then Omie, Opie and Opa went to church and when they came back, they brought some chicken dinner with them. I was so hungry, hadn't really eaten all day. Kelly, Celeste, Cade, Hollan and LaLa all headed out after dinner. Such a good visit. Opa then took Omie and Opie to their hotel and he came back. Everyone was exhausted from such a long day, but a fun day!! Huntleigh slept in Natalie's bed again, so Natalie slept in the same room with Oma and Opa. Great day!!
Sunday, July 14th, the girls 4th Birthday!! When I got up, the girls were already outside on their bikes with Opa helping them ride. So funny!! Oma had already gotten them dressed and everything. They rode their bikes for a little bit while Huntleigh, Oma and I watched and Opa helped them. Opa had to leave to meet Omie and Opie at the hotel. They were going to Louisiana. I took Natalie with me to HEB to pick up some donuts to eat for breakfast and then we came back home. We got Daddy up and he ate some donuts with the rest of us. The girls played with Huntleigh some more and spent some time with Oma and rode their bikes again. We ate lunch with Oma, Daddy and Huntleigh and we sang Happy Birthday to the girls again to eat a cupcake Oma had made. They love having Happy Birthday sung to them. We ate dessert and then Oma and Huntleigh headed out to Fredericksburg. Then Daddy and I took the girls to Michaels and Office Depot to look for some Cork Boards for the girls playroom, so we could hang up their art. We came home and colored with some new colors we bought also, while Daddy hung up the girls Chalkboards that LaLa got them and the cork boards in the middle. We had a fun time. They wanted to ride their bikes again, so we did that. I helped for a little bit and then Daddy took them by himself to ride around the park and Natalie went down a little hill and then hit a bump and Daddy said she flew over her bike to the ground. She got some scraps on her nose, thank goodness she had on her helmet!! Poor thing!! Meagan fell coming back to on the driveway. All part of learning how to ride a bike! Then I fed the girls some dinner and then it was time to take them to their first Vacation Bible School at Wellborn Baptist Church. Daddy and I took them in and met their teachers. We kissed them goodbye and left them there from 6:15pm to 8:30pm. They had a great time! They said they played games, sang songs, made crafts and played and had snack. So happy they liked it!! We brought them home and got ready for bed! We read some of the new books they got for their birthday! Happy 4th Birthday girls!! We love y'all so much!! You both bring joy to our lives everyday!! And you are both such sweethearts!!
