Weekend Update...

I will start with the first outing to Matt and Grandma's office on Thursday. Thursday started out as a normal day and then I got to pack up the diaper bag, so we could drive to the office. It was a lot of fun packing the diaper bag, just excited about taking the girls out for more than an hour. I loaded them up in the car and headed to Sonic to grab myself some lunch (2nd time the girls have been to Sonic, 1st time was on the drive back home from the hospital). Then I headed to the office and the girls got to meet Shirley, Rachel, Marla and Carol. It was fun talking. Shirley even got the girls two cute dresses to wear! I'm sure they didn't mind missing work for a little while to play with the babies. :) After the office visit, we headed to Grandma's house where she started making dinner for us and then while I went for a swim for some much needed exercise, Grandma watched the girls. Even Gus and Kourtney came over to visit with them for a little bit. Matt arrived at Grandma's from work and he swam with me for a bit. We got out of the pool and we ate pork chops. It was yummy! Percy (Grandma's dog) seemed to enjoy the girls, he was kind of guarding them. :) What a great first time to Grandma's house!
Friday was just the same old same old, but I was exhausted! Allison came by that afternoon from the twins group and brought us some great food to eat, yum! Matt and I sent some time together feeding the girls and taking pictures and watching a movie from Netfix. Then my parents (Oma and Opa) came over to spend the weekend.
Saturday Oma and Opa really helped us out, they let us sleep in a little, but it is hard for me to do that completely. I still wake up anyways, but go back to sleep. I really enjoyed spending time with Matt and my parents in the morning. In the afternoon, my sister and her boyfriend came up to play with the babies. I was again so tired while they were here, we were the life of the party. Grandma came over to babysit while my family went out to eat for my mom's birthday. It was fun talking and remembering old times! That will never get old to talk about. After dinner, Tara and her boyfriend, Jason, left to drive back to her house and us four drove back to mine. Grandma stayed to visit for awhile and helped feed the girls at 9pm. We all started watching 'He's Just Not That Into You.' Cute movie.
Sunday, of course was tired again, but got over it. I decided I wanted to go to church because I hadn't been in awhile, so my dad and I went to church, while my mom watched the girls by herself for the first time. She liked it. Dad got KFC for lunch, so we ate and played with the girls. Matt came home from the office and we had Susan, Doc, Trey, Melanie and Brian over to meet the babies. It is always good to see them, they are always in such good moods, I love it. They left and Oma and Opa left shortly after that. Grandma came over for a little bit, but now Matt and I are by ourselves with our babies once again. Hopefully, I can get good sleep tonight! We shall see! I will live!
