Another Great Week...

On Tuesday, the 20th, my friend, Crystal, stopped by the house with her new son, Caden. He was born a little early and weighed 4lbs. 8oz. and now he weighs 5lbs. 6oz., so right now he weighs what Natalie and Meagan weighed when they were born. It's amazing to me that Natalie and Meagan were that small once upon a time!! The girls took a picture with Caden (you can definitely see the size difference). He is a sweet little baby. Once they all get a little older they can play together. After our visit with Crystal and Caden, I took the girls for a walk to the neighborhood park. We strolled to the pond and they got to look at the ducks. When we came back home, Grandma stopped by just for a little bit to say hi.On Wednesday, the girls and I had another fun day together and that afternoon Grandma came by to watch the girls while Daddy and I went and ran some errands and ate dinner. It is so nice of her to do that for us.
On Thursday, I played with the girls and started packing for our trip to Fredericksburg the next day.
On Friday, I dressed the girls up in some Halloween Shirts that Grandma gave them. I put Meagan in one the says 'Little Monster' and Natalie in one that says 'Got Candy'. They were too cute. After Daddy got home, we headed towards Fredericksburg, but made a stop at my sister's house as a half way point to say hi, feed them bottles and change diapers. That was the first time to Aunt Tara's house for the girls. My Aunt Sandra even came over to visit for a bit and help fed. Tara's boyfriend, Jason, and some of his family were also there and got to meet the girls. It was good to meet them. Daddy and I ate dinner and then we were on our way to Oma and Opa's. Once we got there, we fed the girls again and put the girls to bed and we talked to Oma and Opa. The girls did pretty good on the trip.

On Saturday, Matt and I talked to my parents in the morning and Opie came by, so we got to talk to him too. My parents were going to babysit for us for the day while Matt and I went to San Antonio. Matt and I headed out and got to San Antonio around lunch time and meet Kay, her mom and Cody at Joe's Crab Shack. Kay and her mom left and we got to eat lunch with Cody and hang out. After eating we drove to the zoo and met up with Celeste, Cade, Dana and some of her friends. We had a great time with everyone at the zoo and watching Cade enjoy all the animals. Dana and her friends left, so the rest of us rode on the little train that is by the zoo. We then left the zoo and went to Hyatt Place where Matt's Daddy and Granny were staying. We visited with them and then Celeste, Cade, Cody, Matt and I rode together to Dana's soccer game. It was fun playing with Cade and getting to finally see one of Dana's soccer games this year. Dana's team won (they haven't lost a game yet). We talked with Kay, her mom and Dana a little after the game and then we left and ate dinner with Celeste, Cade, Cody, Don and Granny at a Panera Bread. Matt and I headed back to Oma and Opa's after we ate dinner. We had a great day, but we missed the girls and were happy to get back with them.

While we were in San Antonio, the girls got to visit with Oma and Opa. Aunt Janet also came by to meet them for the first time and took a picture with them. Omie also came by and helped Oma take care of the girls. I'm sure the girls were spoiled and loved a whole bunch today.

On Sunday morning, we hung out with Oma and Opa. Daddy and I also took the girls outside to take pictures with the hay in the field. We got some cute ones. Opa went to get us some turkey dinners in town from the church and we all ate that for lunch. We loaded up and fed the girls one more time and then headed out back home. It was great seeing Oma and Opa and very thankful that they watched the girls for us. We stopped in Bastrop on the way home to feed the girls. We got home and got the girls ready for bed. We had such a great weekend with both sides of the family.

Yesterday the girls tried the jumparoo for the first time. Their feet can't quite touch the ground yet, but they did seem to like it!!! They are starting to get really bored with the bouncy seats now and they have both found their feet and like to look at them (Meagan more so than Natalie).
Today is their 15 week birthday!! Time just goes by so fast!!!
