Weekend in Lufkin

This past week, I took the girls on walks around the neighborhood park and nearby neighborhood. We all enjoyed! They enjoyed it so much that they would fall asleep before we got home. Grandma came over to our house on Wednesday afternoon and played with the girls. On Friday, I took the girls up to Grandma and Daddy's work and said hello to all the ladies. We then ate lunch with Great Grandpa and Uncle Bill and his friend and Aunt Margie. It was Uncle Bill's birthday, so we all had ice cream cake (except the girls of course). After lunch, I took the girls to Grandma's house and hung out with them until Grandma came home. She helped me feed them and then Daddy came home and we loaded up and drove to Lufkin. When we arrived in Lufkin, we stopped by Granny's house to meet Cousin Kate, Cousin Chris, Uncle Mike and Aunt Carolyn for the first time. Grandad came a little later and we told him Happy Birthday because it was his birthday too. He turned 60! We then drove to Grammie's house and stayed the night there with Cody and Grammie's mom, Betty. The girls were tired and hungry, so we had to bath them and feed them fast!

Saturday, we hung around Grammie's house with Betty and Cody. Betty and I even left the house for a bit to go get stuff to make milk shakes with and Chick-fil-a. We all ate lunch when we got back to the house. Then we went to Granny's house to visit with everyone again plus Kate's fiance, Cody. Meagan liked watching the TCU football game with Cody. We didn't get to see Grandad to much because he had been working, we saw him right before everyone went to dinner. Everyone went to dinner for Cody's birthday at Ralph & Kacoo's. Uncle Mike's parents joined us, as well as Uncle Dan and Aunt Barbara. We had a good time talking. After dinner we went to Granny's just for a little bit and went back to Grammie's house. We had a good time with family.

Sunday, we just hung out with Cody and Betty again and Daddy got us lunch from Wing Stop. Cousin Nicole and Claire came by to meet the Natalie and Meagan. Claire is a cutie pie. We had fun talking to them. Granny also came by a little later. Nicole and Claire left and then Daddy and I loaded up. We said our goodbyes to Cody, Granny and Betty and then headed back to Grandma's house. Grandma helped feed the girls and then Mommy and girls headed back home. We had a long weekend, we were all tired! I'm so happy the girls got to meet the Carter side, but they still have a couple more to meet. They should meet them around Christmas time!

Monday morning (today), we had our photographer, Sarah, come by and took more pictures of the girls. It was fun! Meagan and Natalie are now sleeping because they are worn out! We have a lot of fun things coming up for the holidays. Plus we will get to spend time with lots of family, yay, so exciting!
