First Christmas Celebrations!

Monday, Dec. 21st., was a very relaxing day at home with the girls. One thing that Meagan likes to do lately is laugh at me while I sing the ABC's with her while she is jumping in her jumperoo. It is so cute!! I love doing it! Later on this afternoon, the girls and I drove toward Grandma's house, but before we got there, we stopped by our friend, Natasha's house and picked up a gift she made the girls. It was some really cute hats. The girls look so cute and pretty in them. We then went to Grandma's house and she had her work party. It was the girls first Christmas party. We played the White Elephant game and I got a snowman cookie jar. Natalie was interested in the wrapping paper and helping unwrap and she was also interested in patting Grandma's dog, Percy. She was precious. While all that was going on, Meagan was napping on Grandma's bed and peed on it. Silly girl! It was okay though!! :)
Tuesday, Natalie, Meagan and I went over to my friend, Shayanne's house and met her, her daughter, Shaylee, and another friend, Courtney, there. We had a great time catching up and playing with Shaylee and the girls. It's nice to have such good friends! It was also the first time to Shayanne's house. Great times!! Meagan was really trying to push up on her legs, which means anytime now she will be crawling, getting into everything!! Both girls are still loving to roll over, they just still need to learn how to roll back to their backs. And they are both still eating rice cereal once a day. After the holidays we will change that to twice a day. After Shayanne's house, we came home and played. Daddy came home later and he babysat the girls while I went to Grandma's Christmas Party! Had fun!
Wednesday, the girls and I did our normal routine all day and waited for Daddy to get home that night, so we could have our Family Christmas. When he got here we got to see what Santa bought the girls a night early. They got a couple of things in their stockings and they also got some toy musical instruments. They really liked the little toy cell phones Santa got them. We watched Miracle on 34th street while we opened presents. Mommy and Daddy and even had a couple of presents. We had a really special time! Meagan also started doing her spit bubble trick again. It is so funny! She had stopped doing that for about a month and now she is doing it again!
Thursday, Christmas Eve, we loaded up our bags and things and headed to Grandma's house to see Grandma and Aunt Terrell (she flew in the night before). We played a little and watched the girls roll over some. Aunt Terrell and Grandma got to feed the girls rice cereal for the first time. After they ate, we headed to Oma and Opa's house. It was so windy outside!!! We were driving really careful. Once we got to their house, we visited and watched "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" and then ate dinner that Oma cooked. We got the girls dressed for bed and started feeding them their last bottle of the day. While they were doing that we put out cookies for Santa and milk and then I read them 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.' We put them to bed!! So excited for their first Christmas.
Friday, Christmas Day, the girls got up and found that Santa had brought them a doll each and they also had teething rings and bibs instead their stockings. They were great presents. We also saw that Santa had eaten most of the cookies and drank all the milk. Oma and I fed the girls their cereal. It was Oma's first time to do it. Aunt Tara came over later and she rode with us to our family (Oma's side) Christmas party. We visited and had a great lunch and took pictures. It is always great to visit with all of them. Great Aunt Betty Ann, got the girls each a cute outfit. We stayed until about 4pm and then we headed home. Once we got home we decided to go ahead and open presents from each other. Natalie and Meagan got each some cute outfits from Aunt Tara and some books. She also got them these really cute hats that they will wear in the spring time for sure. And her boyfriend, Jason, got them some Longhorn shirts. Oma and Opa got them each a baby bracelet from James Avery. They also got them Baby's 1st Christmas Ornaments. Grown ups got each other gifts too. My dad also had lottery tickets for us to scratch off, a family tradition. I won $4, woohoo!! :) We ate some sandwiches for dinner and we put the girls to bed. We had a great time. After the girls were in bed, we watched 'Four Christmas.' Cute movie! What a great first Christmas!! We have more parties tomorrow!
Saturday, Opa and Aunt Tara got to fed the girls rice cereal for the first time. It was funny. We got the girls dressed in Christmas outfits Tara got them and we headed to the Weinheimer Christmas Party. We visited there and ate lunch. Everyone loved the girls. In the afternoon for a break, Aunt Tara, Daddy, the girls and I walked on Main Street to the Market Place. We took pictures and saw people ice skating. First time for the girls to be on Main Street. We went back to the party and then the Weinheimer's left and then it was just Opa's side of the family. Oma, Daddy and I left with the girls to take them to Oma's house. We dropped them off and Daddy and I went back to visit at the party. We ate pizza and played Pictionary, girls against the guys. It was fun! Girls won!!! We also did presents!! Good night!
Sunday, Bernice, Farren, Blaine and Kenzlyn came over to play with the girls for a bit and Great Aunt Teresa came over too!! We ate lunch and started loading up to head back home. We said our goodbyes to Oma, Opa and Aunt Tara!! We had such a great time!! We got home and Grandma and Aunt Terrell came over with dinner from Wings-N-More. We visited and we even hooked up our webcam we got as a gift from Aunt Tara and called Aunt Celeste on Skype and got to see her and Cade and talk to them. That was really neat. Cade was being so funny!!! That was the first time for not only us to use Skype, but for the girls to be on it too!!! Grandma and Terrell gave the girls a bath and then Daddy got to babysit while we went to the movies!! Daddy did a great job!!! What an awesome Christmas!!!
