Monday, Dec. 28th, I took care of the girls in the morning doing our normal routine. After the girls lunch, Daddy came home with Aunt Terrell. We loaded up the girls and ate at Honey Baked Ham for our lunch and then went to the mall. We had to find Daddy some clothes!! It was the second time to go to the mall for the girls. We also went to Jos A Banks for Daddy too!! We headed home and feed the girls and then Grandma came over to visit a little bit. Her and Terrell brought us dinner to eat! Good day!
Tuesday, Daddy and I packed for our trip to Lufkin. We drove to Grandma's first to pick up Aunt Terrell and then went by the office. We stopped at McDonald's to get some lunch for the road and then headed to Lufkin. We made it to Grammie's and unloaded our bags and presents. We spent some time with Betty, Cody, Dana and Grammie and ate dinner at the house with them. We went ahead and put the girls to sleep and then Daddy, Terrell, Dana, Cody and I headed over to Granny and Great Aunt Carolyn's house to have our Christmas with Grandad. We had a good time visiting with Carolyn, Grandad, Granny, Kate and Chris. After we stayed a little while I headed back to Grammie's because I needed to watch the girls while Grammie went to bed. Daddy and everyone else came back later.
Wednesday, we got the girls ready to go over to Granny's again. We were going to have the girls Christmas with Grandad. He gave them these cute little pink rocking ponies and Great Aunt Carolyn and Granny gave them some great toys and pretty little diaper covers with their names on them. We loved all the gifts, so nice of them!! Grandad left to go to work and we stayed and visited with Granny a little while. We headed back to feed the girls their lunch and eat our lunch too. Cousin Jenny came over with her kiddos, Caroline, Charlie and Charlotte and they meet Natalie and Meagan for the first time. It was so good to see them!! Crystal came over to help babysit the girls with Betty while Daddy, Cody, Dana, Terrell and I went to the movies. The boys saw "2012" and the girls saw "The Blind Side." Good movie!!! We went back to Grammie's house and thanked Crystal for watching the babies. We all hung out for a bit and Grammie got home from work. Grammie, Dana, Cody, Terrell, Daddy, the girls and I went out to eat with Great Aunt Barbara and Uncle Dan, Nicole and Claire, Adam and Jason came later as we were leaving. It was the first time that Adam and Jason got to meet the girls. Poor Jason had to meet them when they were fussing because they were ready for bed!! It was good to see everyone! We talked, ate and exchanged some presents. Aunt Barbara gave them little yellow and green tutus and oneies to go with them. After dinner, we got the girls ready for bed and then had our Christmas with Grammie, Dana and Cody. We had fun!!! Grammie got the girls some cute clothes and fun toys to play with. We are so thankful and blessed that so many people love our girls. We stayed up late hanging out with Dana and Cody.
Thursday, Dec. 31st (New Years Eve), we got up early and loaded up everything. I was worried everything wouldn't fit, but it did!! We said goodbye to Grammie, Dana and Cody and then we all eat breakfast with Grandad at IHOP before we headed out of town. Had a good time in Lufkin!! Terrell, Daddy, the girls and I headed to Grandma's house and unloaded everything. Grandma and Bryan came a little later after we showed up. We all relaxed and played with Natalie and Meagan and waited for Aunt Celeste, Uncle Kelly and Cousin Cade to show up. Once they were there we played with all the little ones and ate appetizers for dinner. We chatted for a bit and Uncle Bill and Aunt Margie came over for a little while and then Allison. They left after a little while. We bathed and feed the girls for the last time in 2009 and then put them to bed. Then we played Cranium (guys against the girls) later on in the night to keep us awake until midnight, but we ended up playing until one in the morning. We played three games and the guys won each time. Oh well!! We then played Trivia Pursuit and this time couples against each other. Daddy and I won!!! We all finally went to bed around 3:00am. We had a fun new year!! Here is to 2010 being a great year for all families and for many blessings to continue to come your way!!! Let's have a fun, healthy year!!! 2009 was such a great year because we got the greatest gifts in the world, our beautiful girls, Natalie and Meagan!!!
Friday, The First Day of 2010, we got up early to help with the kiddos and help get lunch ready!! For our New Year lunch we ate Ham, Black Eye Peas, Cabbage, Potatoes, Carrots, Corn Bread, Green Bean Casserole, Corn and Cookies. It was all so yummy!! I love eating New Years' meal!! After lunch, we laid the kiddos down for their naps and the grown ups opened up their presents. We all got such sweet gifts!! We had our Christmas a week later!! Santa Claus still came to Grandma's though and brought Cade and the girls gifts! We woke them up from their naps and they got to open their presents! We had such a good time! Celeste got them clothes and fairy tale name books and Terrell got them little baby Madame Alexander dolls and books and other cute things. Grandma got the girls little Tea Sets, toys and clothes. The girls had a great Christmas this year. Bryan, Terrell, Cade and I played outside with the ball for a while. Cade just loves the outdoors!! We played with the little ones some more and talked. We then ate a small dinner. We hung out a little more and then helped put the girls to bed. Daddy and I were going to head home, but we couldn't find his wallet, so we all searched for that. We didn't find it, so we just went home and looked. I was exhausted!! We had such a great time!!!
Saturday, Grandma ended up finding Daddy's wallet, yay!! Daddy and I drove up to Grandma's around lunch time and helped feed the girls and we ate a little lunch. Later on, Daddy, Bryan and I let Terrell and Grandma babysit the kiddos while we went to shop for suits for Daddy. He got a good deal, buy one suit and get two for free!! We ran some other errands and then went back to Grandma's. We played with the kiddos again and got them ready for bed. Grandma babysat while, Celeste, Kelly, Terrell, Bryan, Daddy and I went to eat Mexican Food and then we went to the movies to see Avatar in 3D. It was okay! Daddy and I went home afterwards. We got home late!!
Sunday, Daddy and I woke up early to drive to Grandma's to say bye to Celeste, Kelly and Cade. They headed out early. After they left, we hung out with Bryan, Grandma and Terrell. We played with Natalie and Meagan. They both took really good naps too!! We helped put some Christmas decorations up. We ate pizza for lunch. We said bye to Terrell and Bryan because Grandma was taking them to the airport to go back home. Then Daddy, the girls and I headed back home ourselves. We had a great holiday, now it is time to get back into our normal routine again. Happy New Year everyone!!!!
