Thursday, March 28th, the girls went to school and then we came home to get ready for dance class. They did a great job in dance. After dance, we went by the old house and then we came home to spend time with Daddy and I fed them some dinner. Daddy spent time with them tonight while I went to BJ's to eat dinner with the twin group officers. Kelly just wanted to talk over a couple of things and to get opinions on different topics. We had a good time and then we all went home.
Friday, the girls and I drove to LaLa's house to pick her up and then to Great Aunt Janet's house to pick her up. We all rode together to Burton to the cemetery there to visit with LaLa's family. The girls had fun playing with a couple of balls and other toys we took out there. We took some pictures in the bluebonnets and on the beautiful old tree out there. Then it was time to eat the wonderful food everyone made out there. Then all the kids listened to some Easter stories and then it was time for the Easter Egg hunt. The girls did awesome. Natalie still looks for certain ones to pick up and Meagan just goes at it and picks any kind. So much fun to watch! Then we played with the outdoor toys some more and opened up all of our eggs to see what candy was in them. Then around 2ish we headed out and we drove back to Aunt Janet's and dropped her off and then we went to LaLa's and hung out there for the rest of the day. I let the girls paint their wooden eggs this year, Meagan did orange and Natalie did purple. They played outside and then Daddy came by to visit before he left for Austin. We told Daddy bye and to have fun watching basketball with Trey's family. We stayed at LaLa's a little longer to play and then we headed home to have dinner and to get ready for bed.
Saturday, the girls and I got up early and then we got ready and then drove to Austin. We went to the Lakeline Mall to ride some toys and to meet up with Lori, Paul and Madisyn to say hi and to give Madisyn her late birthday present. It was so good to see them. We visited for about 20 minuites and then it was time to leave. When we were going down the escalator, I got on with Meagan and Natalie was behind us and she was a little scared, so she ended up doing the splits and a lady behind us helped and I got to her to and held her when we got off. She was fine, she just got a little scared, poor thing. We headed to Shannon, Tina, Easton and Jackson's house for Easton and Jackson's birthday party, Easton's 1st and Jackson's 3rd. We bought the bounce house along and the yard darts. A lot of our family was there, so that was so much fun! It was such a cute party with and Easter Bunny, Easter Egg Hunting, Easter Bunny Pinata, yummy cake and kite flying!! Everyone seemed to have a blast! Natalie and Meagan liked the water guns, they liked spraying us and Meagan liked the coloring (with Jacqlyn) and Natalie liked all the books. Oma and Opa, Tara and Jason were there to! And Daddy met us there for the party. It was so good to see everyone! Also during the Easter Egg Hunt, Meagan found a hole that was filled with eggs, she found the jackpot, lol! Natalie kept getting hurt today, poor little thing. After the party everyone followed each other to Tara and Jason's house (Bernice and Huntleigh rode with Oma and Opa). Tara and Jason made dinner to celebrate Opa's birthday on the 27th. We had steaks, corn and baked potatoes. And Oma made a brownie cake, yum! The girls loved playing with Huntleigh outside on the porch! We had such a great day today with family, I just loved it!! Love Holidays when we can visit with family so much! We sang Happy Birthday to Opa and gave him his presents and Oma and Tara even gave the girls some Easter Presents. Around 7pm, we all headed out and told everyone bye bye. The girls had to be thrown in the air by Jason before we left! :) Daddy followed us home and the girls were sleeping by the time we got home (before they fell asleep, we had fun playing games in the car like the game 'What am I?' and such). Daddy gave the girls a quick bath, which they didn't like, but they were clean, then they went straight to bed. What a fun day!
Sunday, I was getting ready for church and Meagan helped me get ready. Then I fed her some breakfast and then Natalie got up wanting to play computer games right away. LaLa came over and gave the girls some Easter presents. She gave Natalie an Ariel Piggybank and Meagan a Zebra Piggybank, they loved them. After they opened their gifts, we noticed that there were eggs outside in the backyard. The Easter Bunny stopped by while we were sleeping. ;) So the girls grabbed their baskets and went outside to start collecting eggs. They had such a good time trying to find them all. We took some pictures and then we came inside and noticed that the Easter Bunny had left some gifts to. He left some candy, Hello Kitty Purses, Kites and two movies, Wreck It Ralph and Ice Age The Meltdown. They opened some of their eggs and then we all got ready for church. We told LaLa bye bye because she was going to her church and then we went to our church service and took three sunflowers for the cross of flowers for Jesus. We took a family picture by the cross. Then we took the girls to their class and Daddy and I went to the church service. Such a good service about Jesus! Thank you Jesus for all that you have done for us and still do for us!!! After church, we went to eat lunch at Cafe Excell. It was fun and good! After lunch we came home and got changed. The girls wanted to fly their new kites, so I took them across the street to the basketball courts and we were having so much fun flying them and then Meagan tripped on Natalie's kite and hurt her knee and elbow, so I called Daddy to bring me some water and bandaids. We got it cleaned up and covered and Daddy flew some kites with us. He went to the old house to mow the yard, while the girls and I hung out at the house and started watching Ice Age. Daddy came home and the girls spent some time with him playing computer games. Then we all headed out to LaLa's house, where Daddy finished up the wooden eggs by painting a soccer ball on Natalie's and Ballet shoes on Meagan's. We had fun at LaLa's, Margie came over to talk for a little bit and then LaLa, the girls and I went on a drive looking for bluebonnets and found some beautiful ones!! We took lots of pictures of the girls! Then they played on an old seesaw and we headed back to LaLa's house to eat some dinner with her and Daddy! We had a great time! Now time to head home and go to sleep!
Monday, April Fool's Day, I took the girls to Hot Shots soccer and they had such a great time learning how to kick the ball the right way. Meagan and Natalie even had to go after the ball against each other since they had different colored jerseys on and Meagan got it first and got it into her goal. I was impressed. Natalie got a little sad, but the next time she played against another little girl, she scored in her goal. They are both pretty good little players. Meagan definitely more aggressive. We played at the park after soccer for a little bit and April was there with her four little ones (she is in the twins group). It was good to talk to her and the girls played with her kids good! We left around the same time and I brought the girls home and we did some laundry. We went to the bank and by the old house and then we went to gymnastics class and they had fun! Then we came home and I fed them some dinner and made some dinner for Daddy and myself. We all ate dinner and then it was time for me to go to my twins meeting. Daddy and the girls played video games together. I had a good time at the meeting and then a couple of us went to Panera Bread to have a dessert and talk. Then I came home. *Today Natalie was complaining a lot, so I was trying to make her repeat some good things about today like 'Today is a beautiful day', 'I love my life' and she would repeat me. Then I said 'Mommy is the best mommy in the whole world' and she said all by herself 'Mommy is Raunch'. I had to crack up laughing because I wasn't expecting that, it was so funny and it got her to laugh!! Oh my girls, what am I going to do with them!! ;)
Tuesday, I took the girls to school. It was a rainy day today!! I picked them up from school and we came home for a little bit to play and have snack. Then we went to the library to return our old books and get some new ones. We read a couple there and then ran in the rain to get to the truck. We came home and read some more books and then just played around the house. We always love when Daddy gets home to play to!!
Wednesday, right after Daddy left for work, the guy came to fix our heater in our bathroom, he was fast, got it done and then left. The girls and I played a video game and then Alicia and her kids came over to play for a little bit and had snack. Then we all went to the children's museum to play, had a good time together and made crafts. Around 1ish we left and we all went to eat at Freddy's. It was pretty good food! I got the girls each a chocolate milkshake, and boy did they make a mess with that!!! Oh well, we were having fun! We left there and then we all went over to Marcy's house to play. We had fun talking and doing puzzles. We left there at 4pm and had a good time, we haven't been to Marcy's house in a while for a play date. Brought back memories from all the twins playdates! We came home and I fed them some dinner and played and practiced the Awana verse. Meagan is pretty much reading it now, so funny! Daddy and I took the girls to Awana and then while the girls were there, we went to eat dinner and went to the grocery store. When we picked them up, the Awana teachers said that they were getting so much better with saying their verses all by themselves and that Meagan was reading hers, they need to start hiding hers. We came home and started getting ready for bed and then listened to a book on CD called 'Bugs, Bugs, Bugs'. And used a reading pen on some other books. Then it was time for bed! We had a good week!! Happy Easter!!
