Thursday, July 10th, I got the girls up early and we got ready! We met up with Kelly at HEB and we put the girls seats in her car with Emmy, Caleb and Katie and then we headed to Houston for the Children's Museum. We had a great time and there was so much to do!! The kids really liked playing together and we loved exploring the museum. This was our first time at this Children's Museum. After the museum, we decided to go eat lunch somewhere neat. It was called Natachee's and for the kids meal each of the kids got their meal in an old lunch box, so that was cool. They also had a sandbox outside for them to play in and they could watch the city tram go by. It was neat! I ordered a dessert and the girls pretty much ate it all up, lol!! After lunch, we headed back to College Station and Kelly dropped us off at my truck. We told them bye and then we came home and I cleaned a little and did some laundry. Great day!
Friday, Michelle, Haley and Hampton stopped by this morning to drop off some gifts for Natalie and Meagan's birthday. They each got sunglasses and Natalie got a Rapunzle book and Meagan got a Sophia book, they were a coloring set. Really great gifts!! We talked with them for a little bit and then Michelle had to get on the road. We told them bye and then we went to Willie's to have lunch with Alicia, Andrew, Elizabeth and Olivia. It was fun, the kids got all nice and sandy. We then made a stop at Barnes and Nobles to play with the trains, puppets, legos and books. Just have to love all these kids!! We are so sad that they are moving!! :( After Barnes and Nobles, the girls and I came home and did some things around the house and then Lisa came over. We hung out with her and talked and the girls played outside and we were out there with them playing and talking. When Daddy got home, we just ordered a pizza for dinner. It was nice having Lisa here!! Excited about tomorrow!!
Saturday, I got up and fed the girls some breakfast. Everyone was so excited about the birthday party!! I left the girls with Daddy and I went to pick up the cake and the cookies. The cake and the cookies turned out really cute!!!! The cake had the very first Beanie Boos that the girls had ever gotten that started our crazy collection. For Meagan it was Dazzle and for Natalie it was Gypsy. The party is Beanie Boo themed and we had it at an art place called Artastic. Oma and Opa went ahead and came to the house before the party and helped me with last minute things and then we headed out with them to the party and Daddy headed out a little before us to pick up balloons and Chick-fil-a food. We got to Artastic and the first ones there were Tara and Jason, and Kelly, Celeste, Cade, Hollan, Terrell and LaLa, then Joanna, Haven and Harrison and Lisa. Everyone was helping to get the place set up a little bit with the food, cake, favors, painting supplies. Joanna helped Kristen (the owner) with putting the letters on the canvas and then with putting paint on plates for the kids to use. It was looking good! Then Julie, Aaron, Sadie, Maegan, Addison and Jordyn showed up and then Shayanne, Shaylee, Shelbee and Shanynn. Then Matt and Talli came, then Michelle and Trevor and then Gus, Kourtney and Cooper and then Alicia, Brandon, Elizabeth, Olivia and Andrew. And then Grandad came a little later. I think that was everyone in our group! Good, fun little group!! All the kids got to paint a canvas with their initial on it. I think they all had fun doing that. Then everyone ate some lunch that we got from Chick-fil-a. Then we sang 'Happy Birthday' to the girls and Meagan blew out her candles right away, Natalie took a couple of tries, but she finally got it after spitting pretty much all over the cake. Too funny! Everyone had a piece of yummy chocolate cake and then we took some time outside to play and run around and write with chalk on the sidewalk. And we took a ton of pictures outside and talked to all of our friends and family! The art work was outside on the sidewalk to dry. After it was dry, we took a group photo with all the kiddos with their art work. Very cute photo!! Then we went back inside and the girls opened up their presents. They got so many cute things!! From Tara and Jason - Barbies, Rainbow Markers, Big Coloring Books, Butterfly Net, Butterfly House to Paint and Goldie Blocks Dunking Booth. Talli - Littlest Pet Shop Stuffed Animals, Goldie Blocks Parade Float, Goldie Blocks Dunking Booth and two handmade puzzles. Haven and Harrison - Feed Me Baby Rabbit and Puppy. Lisa - Outfits for school, Bubbles and Bracelets. Shayee, Shelbee and Shanynn - Paint Dabbers, Paper, Doodle Book and Water Paper. Olivia, Elizabeth and Andrew - Glow Book, Sky Race Game, Color Wonder, Sound Studio, Jessie P.J's, Brave P.J's, Tattoo Kit and two Disney Reusable Gift Bags. Trevor - Giftcards to Hobby Lobby. In the mail we got Easton and Jackson's gift - $10 each. After opening presents, we told everyone thank you and the girls gave tons of hugs!! We handed out the favor bags which were really simple this year with a Beanie Boo Cookie and a little paint palettte. Then it was time to pack up and leave. What a fun birthday for the girls!! We loved it!! We went to our house afterwards with Kelly, Celeste, Cade, Hollan, Grandad, LaLa, Terrell, Oma, Opa and Lisa. We opened all the presents from family that was there. Here is what the family gave the girls: Terrell and Bryan - My Little Ponies, color pencils, crystal heart necklaces, and four Elephant and Piggie Books (which they love). Cade and Hollan - money, glow pets and Operation (Doc McStuffins). LaLa - got the girls each their own scooter, each a backpack and matching lunch kit for school and money. Grandad - Another Furby, two mini Furbies and a coloring set case with markers, crayons and colored pencils. Oma and Opa - Books, P.J's and two pairs of Crock shoes. Mommy and Daddy - IPAD, Disney Pen for the IPAD, Hello Kitty Sticker Book, Frozen Seek and Find, Lego Movie, Markers, Frozen cups, Beanie Boos (like Baron Bat, Honey Bear, Scrapes Dog (big), a little King Lion, Thankful Turkey, a little Lily Lamb, Posy Chick and Petunia the big Purple Bunny) and then two Hideaway Pets (the white cat for Meagan and the HedgeHog for Natalie). The girls enjoyed opening their presents and when they were almost done, Alicia, Olivia, Andrew and Elizabeth came over and watched them open the last ones. The very last thing each girl opened was a clue and picture to find a Beanie Boo. For Meagan it was Scrapes the Big Dog hiding in the dryer, so Cade, Hollan, Meagan, Natalie, Elizabeth, Olivia and Andrew all went to find the dog. Then Natalie's clue was a picture of Honey Bear hiding in Mommy and Daddy's closet in one of the drawers. The kids had a blast doing that. That was fun Daddy's idea. After that, we went outside and Olivia and Elizabeth were letting us have their Barbie Jeep, so the girls took that for a test run, even Hollan tried it out. She is a hoot! We thanked them and then Alicia and her crew left to walk back home. We went back inside and played with some of the toys for a little bit and the girls played video games with Cade and Kelly. Lisa headed out to go back to her house. We were so happy that she came to the party!! Then we all got ready and we went over to LaLa's house to go swimming and have BBQ for dinner. Gus, Kourtney and Cooper came over to swim too! We had a blast!! What a great day today was!! Love spending time with family and friends at the pool!! After we visited for a while, we headed home with Daddy, Oma and Opa. And we all got ready for bed!!
Sunday, we just stayed home all day and spent time with Oma and Opa. The girls got to play with all their new toys and we had it everywhere, but they were having fun!! Oma helped me clean up a little and then her and Opa headed out to Fredericksburg. The girls, Daddy and I spent the rest of the day playing and cleaning. I fed the girls some dinner and then Daddy and I took the girls to VBS at Wellborn Baptist Church. They went to this one last year and loved it! When Daddy and I got home, there was another present by the door for Natalie and Meagan. It was from Sadie, Addison, Maegan and Jordyn - Nerf Guns and Candy Necklaces. After Daddy and I picked the girls up from VBS, we came home and they got to open their present. Daddy and the girls right away started playing with the Nerf Guns, trying to shoot the balloons. So Funny!! We had a great weekend! Last day to be Four Years Old!!
Monday, Natalie and Meagan's 5th Birthday!! Last night Daddy and I hung up streamer by the girls bedroom door, so they would have something neat to walk through on their birthday! We woke them up singing Happy Birthday and then they walked through the streamer and they thought that was so cool. Daddy made them each a pancake in the shape of the number 5! They loved it!! We all ate together and then Daddy had to do to work. I got the girls ready for the swimming pool and then we headed out to the Rock Prairie Pool. We met up with Joanna, Haven and Harrison, Sarah and her two boys, Patrick and Jack, Michelle, Haley and Hampton, Alicia, Olivia, Elizabeth and Andrew, Marcy, Katie and Brady. Good group to see on their birthday! I had fun playing with Natalie and Meagan in the pool and visiting with the Moms. I also talked to Rachel, who had Cassidy in Gymnastics with Natalie and Meagan and she goes to our church. It was good to talk with her. Then we got out to eat lunch. Alicia and her crew were leaving to meet her mom at her house. Her mom was taking the kids with her to San Antonio for good now, so I made sure the girls gave Andrew, Elizabeth and Olivia hugs bye. We are so sad they are leaving!! We stayed for a little longer with the rest of the crowd and then we headed home also. We played with toys and then when Daddy got home, we all went to eat at Fudderucker's. That is where the girls chose to eat for their birthday and they even brought their own purses and some money to play the games. They got to share a milk shake and get a cookie. Then we left there and we dropped the girls off at VBS. They had a great time there!! Daddy and I picked them up and brought them home to get ready for bed! What a fun day!!
