Thursday, January 24th, I took the girls to school and they had a great day, as always. And Yay, I think Meagan is back on track on not pottying while she takes a nap!! Cross your fingers!! As far as night time, she is hit or miss, sometimes dry and sometimes wet, but she will get the hang of it!! After school, we came home and got ready for dance class. They did a great job!! After dance, we drove home and it was such a nice day outside, we played outside with the chalk and princess dolls. We had fun!
Friday, we had an outdoor play date with Haven and Harrison at the park. I brought a couple of toys and chalk for everyone to play on/with. The kids had a great time!!! We even all ate lunch there. After we played for a while, we told them bye and then we came home. The girls and I had a fun time at home playing and then when Daddy got home we went to eat at Harold's Hot Dogs and then we went to Chuck E Cheese because Meagan stayed dry last night, so we wanted to celebrate as much as we can when she does that!! We had a great time!! And the girls got some cute prizes. We came home afterwards.
Saturday, Daddy, the girls and I played at home in the morning and then around lunch time we drove up to Houston and we dropped off Daddy at the Galleria to get a suit size for Terrell and Bryan's wedding. We just drove around and took a potty stop. Then we went to pick up Daddy and then we drove to Jeanette and Buck's house for Chloe's 3rd Birthday party. It was a carnival theme, really cute idea! They had a couple of booths set up to play and win tickets to exchange for some prizes. They even got out a bouncy slide to play on. We all sang to Chloe and ate some cupcakes and played some more. It was so good to see them!! We told them bye and then we headed out to Thad and Nyree's house. We got to visit at their house for a little bit and tried to decide where to eat. It is always good to see them. The girls loved playing with Natasha and Thaddeus' toys! We then left and followed them to a restaurant called 'The Black Walnut'. We sat outside to eat and enjoyed each others company. All the girls were being silly, saying 'Nasty Table', 'Nasty Chair', etc. It was funny! After dinner we all walked to a nearby dessert place called 'The Chocolate Bar'. It was so yummy. The kids each got a little cupcake and I shared a piece of cake with Nyree and Daddy got a piece of cheesecake. Thad also bought each kid a special piece of candy. It was such a cute place! We had a great time today! We told them bye and then we headed out back home.
Sunday, Daddy, the girls and I all went to church together. The girls had a great time in their little class. Then we all went to Crackle Barrel to eat lunch/brunch. We had a good time. We even got the girls a prize. Natalie picked out a white barking/walking dog and Meagan picked out a pink oinking/walking pig. They were so excited about these. We stopped off at Target for a quick visit and then we came home. The girls wanted to put on their new pajamas that Nyree got them and they played with their new dog and pig for ever it seemed. They were so cute! It was so funny to watch. Then in the afternoon, we drove to LaLa's house to visit and to have dinner with her. We had fun and the girls showed LaLa their new pets. Penny and Percy really didn't like them much. The girls even got to play outside for a little bit. We had a nice visit and the food was yummy!! We told LaLa bye and then headed home. Great weekend!
Monday, we played at home and then around 11am we went to Joanna's house for a play date with Haven and Harrison and also Elizabeth, Olivia and Andrew. It turned into a nice day, so we played outside with the cars the kids could drive. Natalie and Meagan even brought their new dog/pig to show everyone. Haven and Harrison liked them! The girls had a great time on the little cars. We went inside to eat lunch and then they played hide and seek for a little bit and then we went outside to play on the swings and in the sand box. We had a great time. Came back inside and they all played some more and then right before we left, all the kids got to feed the donkey, which was really cool! Meagan got to drive the car again before leaving. We had such a good time! We came home and hung out for a little bit and then and it was time for gymnastics. They did such a great job on the rings!! We came home afterwards and I made some dinner. Daddy came home to eat and play with the girls!
Tuesday, I took the girls to school and it was 'Hat Day' for School Spirit Week. They each wore a cap, they looked cute. After school I picked them up and we all went to the grocery store. They got to pick out their Valentine's for their school party next month. We then came home and played. When Daddy got home, we all ate at Applebee's for dinner and then Daddy ran a quick errand to Office Depot. He drove us all home and we all got ready for bed.
Wednesday, I took the girls to story hour at the library and it was about Penguins today and it just so happened that the girls were wearing their penguin shirts today. After story hour, we all picked out a couple of books to check out and to read at home. Then we drove to Chick-fil-a and we met up with Alicia and her little ones. The kids played and we all ate and had a good time. We almost stayed for about two hours. The kids even got ice cream, yum! We told them bye and then we came home for the rest of the afternoon. We stayed inside because it was windy and chilly today. I read them all their library books and I even had to put Meagan in time out once today for not listening. She was better after that! We had fun playing tea party and doing the Math Pre School book. Daddy came home early and he took the girls to Awana with me. It was silly willy night, so the girls wore some wigs, everyone thought it was funny. They love Awana! I love that they learn more about God and Jesus!! Daddy and I ran a couple of errands and then we ate at Panera Bread for dinner. Then I took Daddy home and I went to Awana to talk to Kelly and to pick up the girls. Meagan got her patch this week, since she didn't get it last week and they both also knew their verses for this week! Yay!! Good job girls!! We came home and Daddy bathed the girls and he read them tons of library books. They were pretty tired, so they fell asleep pretty easy. We had a great week.
