Memorial Day Weekend!!
Thursday, May 23rd, I took the girls to school and I got their school pictures and their end of the school year folder of work they have done throughout the year. It was really cute. Then after school, I took them to dance class where they had a blast dancing with a black hat and cane. Not many kids were there, so that made it a little more fun to! We came home and hung out with Daddy the rest of the evening.
Friday, Daddy and I took the girls to school for the end of the year performance, it was cute! They were Wise Builders. We enjoyed watching them sing and do the motions. We got to talk to Shayanne and meet the new baby, Shannyn. It was good to see them. Afterwards, Daddy had to go to work and I took the girls to the Children's Museum to meet up with Alicia, Elizabeth, Olivia and Andrew. We had fun playing at the museum, we stayed for a while. We told them bye and then I took the girls to Burger King to eat a late lunch. It was pretty good. We came home and played for a little while in the playroom and on the playstation with the Disney game that they like to play together. As we were playing that, Trisha, Scott, Luke and Logan came over to visit and see our new house. I just love that family, they are so much fun! We played the video game for a little bit and then we all decided to go play at the park, a little basketball and chalk. Then the kids swung and played on the slides. Meagan has really got the swinging down now, it is so neat to watch her do it all by herself! While we were at the park, Daddy came home and we all decided to go eat at Wings-N-More, Trisha's favorite place here. We had a good time! Matt won each kid a stuffed animal with the crawl, so funny. We had a good time visiting. Then it was time for them to hit the road again, so we told them bye. Then us four went to Wal-Mart for a couple of things and we ran into Trisha again. After shopping, we came home to play the Disney game again and all four of us played together. I love family time!! Then it was time for bed.
Saturday, we all got ready and headed over to our old house to pick up some furniture that was still there, that we were going to take to LaLa's garage. We headed up to LaLa's shortly after we had everything and we unloaded the truck. LaLa came and we were so happy to see her back from her trip. She got the girls some cute gifts from her trip. Then Celeste, Kelly, Hollan and Cade came over and we talked to them for just a little bit, we had plans to go to Gus and Kourtney's house to hung out for the day with them, Cooper and Otto and Adriane, Demetri and Thane. We had such a good time, love those people!! The kids all played in the playroom for the longest time and then they had some food and then it was time to play on the water slide. Wow, they had a blast together. We also got a group picture of all the kids. Then we played inside again for a little bit and then outside on the trampoline, bubbles and sandbox. What fun!! Then we told everyone bye and thank you!! It was a great, relaxing day with good friends! Then we came back to LaLa's house to visit with Celeste and all of them for a little bit and Royce and Margret were there to. Good to always catch up. They left shortly after we got there because they had to get back home, but it was good to see them!! We hung out for a little bit with LaLa and played and then it was time to come home.
Sunday, I got up and played with the girls and we let Daddy sleep in a little bit. Then it was time to go to the old house again to get more furniture to take to LaLa's. We are trying to clean out the whole house because we close on it on Tuesday. We all left there and we drove to LaLa's house to drop everything off and we talked to LaLa a little bit. Then we hit the road again to Joey, Kelly, Carson and Wesley's house for a pool party. We got dressed and we all went swimming. The girls pretty much swam the whole time and had a blast. We got to visit with Kelly and Joey and Brian and Kristi. The food was yummy and we had a great time. Girls even got to play with chalk and some baseball. Another relaxing afternoon. We told everyone bye and that we had a great time and then we headed back to LaLa's house. She wanted the girls to stay with her tonight, so we got them ready for bed and then told them goodnight. They slept with LaLa in her bed. Daddy and I came home and played the Disney video game, lol!
Monday, I got up and cooked pancakes, bacon and eggs for breakfast. It was yummy! Then we went over to the old house to finish getting everything out of there. We loaded it up and we drove to LaLa's house to unload a couple more things. The girls and LaLa were swimming in the pool when we got there. I talked to Natalie on the phone earlier because she was crying for me, so sweet! Then LaLa said after breakfast they wanted to swim, so they did that and then played in the sandbox and outside and then got back into the pool. When we got there, I got in the pool with them and Daddy went to get some Sonic to eat for lunch. He came back and they all ate outside, I swam just a little longer and then ate with them. We swam for just a little longer without floaties, I had them jump into the water to me. Then we practiced swimming by the steps. It was fun! Then we all went inside and rested by playing on the IPAD and IPhones. We stayed there all afternoon and Allison, Margie and the kids they were watching came over to swim, so we talked to them a little bit. Then it was time to take the girls to gymnastics for the last time all summer. There was only one other kid there. It was fun for the girls to get that much attention for their last day. They loved Coach Sabrina. They even got certificates for completing the year in gymnastics, yay! Daddy even came to watch today!! We all left and we ate dinner at Chuy's for dinner. It was a good dinner. Then we went to Sear's to pick up our new big TV that Daddy wanted. We came home and started to set that up and I gave the girls a bath. Then we all played the Disney game on the new TV. Pretty cool! I got to talk to Aunt Tara tonight to see how her weekend was. We had a great and relaxing Memorial Day Weekend.
Tuesday, I took the girls to school and while they were there, I went to the old house to clean a little bit and to say goodbye to it! We have had that house since 1999, so it is kind of sad to say goodbye!! On to new wonderful memories at our new house. I got the girls from school and we came home to play for a little bit. Daddy met us at home and we all went to University Title to met the people buying our house and to sign the papers. Michelle works there, so she came to get the girls for alittle bit to walk them around and to get a cookie. They came back and the girls did great and we got everything done pretty fast. It was a good experience!! After we closed, we came home to play Disney game and to eat some dinner I got earlier. We had a good evening.
Wednesday, we hung out at home in the morning and then we went over to Alicia's house for the kids to play together. Elizabeth and Olivia love to draw pictures for Natalie and Meagan, so they gave them some. Natalie went straight for the girls room to play, she knows where to find toys now, so funny! Olivia, Elizabeth and Meagan colored. After they played for a little bit there, we were all hungry, so we all went to Double Dave's to eat pizza. We had a good time. Then we all went to the library to get all the kids registered for the Summer Reading Program!! I love the summers at the libraries. We all checked out books for the kids and then we said bye. Then we drove up to LaLa's house and Alicia and her crew came over to. All the kiddos swam and I did to. Olivia and Elizabeth are great swimmers already!! Natalie and Meagan enjoyed jumping in!! We played Ring Around the Rosie in the pool a bunch of times! We stayed in for about two hours. LaLa came home and Daddy did to. We said bye to Alicia and them and then we hung out and ate dinner. Then it was time for us to come home. We had a great week! We are so happy LaLa is back in town to!!!
