Thursday, January 16th, I took the girls to school and then after school, they of course wanted to come home and play their video game and then we met up with Alicia and her crew at the park to play and ride Plasma Cars and Scooters. We all had a great time!! It was a beautiful day out!! We came home afterwards and I made dinner while the girls played their games. Daddy came home and we all ate and then I made some brownies. At bath time, Daddy was going to give Meagan a bath and when she got in the water, all of a sudden a rash appeared. Daddy figured it was from the medicine she was taking. It was day seven on the amoxicillin/clavulanate potassium for the double ear infection last week. She was itching that night and we had her sleep with us.
Friday, I called the doctor right away this morning to make an appointment to go in for Meagan. We went around 10ish and the doctor said that she has the hives. It was all over her body now and she was just itching away, poor thing. I was so worried! He just said to get some Benadryl and some lotion and to just watch her. We left and went to get some Benadryl and I gave it to her right away and it definitely helped with the itching. We picked up lunch at Chick-fil-a and then we headed to the park. She seemed to be doing okay then. We met up with Joanna, Haven and Harrison, Alicia and Andrew and Michelle, Haley and Hampton. We had a good time and Meagan was still in good spirits. After the park, we came home and the girls played their game for a little bit. Then we met up with Alicia, Olivia, Elizabeth and Andrew at the movies to see 'The Nut Job'. It wasn't very good at all. All the kids liked the end of the movie, lol. After the movies, we met up with Daddy at Mickey Sliders to eat and it was brand new, so we wanted to see what the food was like. Poor Meagan was acting funny because of the Benadryl. The food was fast and it was pretty good. We then left and came home. We took care of little Meagan and tried to make her feel better. She slept in bed with us again because we wanted to make sure she was okay during the night.
Saturday, Meagan looked pretty bad, she didn't even want to walk because it hurt. Her and Natalie just played video games all morning, it kept her mind off the itching and the pain. LaLa stopped by to see her and to bring over some baking soda for her bath. She visited for a little bit and then she headed out. We then all got dressed and we headed to Navasota after we had Whatburger for lunch. We all went to Cooper's 3rd Birthday Party. He had a train there for everyone to ride. We took Meagan there for just a little bit, so that she could ride the train. Daddy ended up walking her over to LaLa's house and then he came back. The rest of us, Natalie, Daddy and I stayed over at the party for a while and had fun. Natalie loved being chased by Sam (Gus' brother) and Daddy and I had fun talking and catching up with everyone. Cooper's party was a lot of fun!!! We went over to LaLa's house and we ate some dinner. Meagan and LaLa were laying in bed watching a movie. They had a good time snuggling. We came home and then we got Meagan to bed. I slept by her in Natalie's bed, so Natalie slept in Mommy and Daddy's room. Meagan got some really good sleep tonight!!
Sunday, we stayed home all day and played in the playroom and they played games all morning, Meagan was feeling a lot better, but not all the way yet. Oma and Opa came to visit because they wanted to check on Meagan. They got here a little after lunch. We just all relaxed around the house and then they watched the girls while Daddy and I did a little shopping. Then Daddy went to work and I took Natalie to Awana and I came back home and we ate dinner with Meagan. Opa came with me to pick up Natalie from Awana and then we got some gas and came home. We all spent some time together and gave Meagan another baking soda bath. Then it was time to go to bed. Natalie went to sleep right away and it took forever for Meagan to go to sleep.
Monday, Meagan woke up and hardly had any more spots on her, she still had some, but her spirits were up and she was feeling so much better. Opa went to work in the yard for us, Oma went to Walgreen's and I took the girls over to the park to meet up with Alicia, Olivia, Elizabeth and Andrew, Joanna, Haven and Harrison. Played with chalk, scooters and Plasma Cars. We had fun!! Julie came with Sadie, Addison and Maegan and then we all ate together. Everyone played again and then Oma came to meet us over at the park. We then brought Natalie and Meagan home to have our lunch. Opa came in to eat with us to. Alicia and Julie and their kids came in for a second to use the restroom and then they headed out. The rest of the day we stayed home with Oma and Opa. We played outside and the girls played a little t-ball. Opa would toss the ball at them and they could stay hit the ball a couple of times. Daddy came home earlier and we all ate pizza together. We had a great day and we all so happy that Meagan is feeling much better.
Tuesday, I kept the girls home from school and we hung out with Oma and Opa. Oma and Opa watched over the girls while I went to meet up with Julie, Joanna and Alicia at Blue Baker to hang out and talk and to give Julie a couple of baby gifts for her new little girl that will be born soon. Had a good time. I came home afterwards and had lunch with Oma, Opa and the girls. Then all of us left to go do some errands and some shopping. We dropped off Opa at Academy and then we went to Shoe Carnival and Toys-R-Us to get shoes and princess dresses. We picked up Opa and then we all came back home. Oma cooked us some dinner tonight and we all ate together. The girls and Daddy played some games tonight and we played some Uno. Meagan is all better now, yay!!!
Wednesday, Oma and Opa headed out when the girls and I left to go to gymnastics. Girls did really good today!! After gym, we picked up some Chick-fil-a and then we met up with Joanna, Haven, Harrison, Alicia, Andrew, Julie, Addison, Michelle, Haley, Hampton, Jill, Ali and Drew at the park at we always go to. We all ate lunch and played and talked. It was a beautiful day outside, so we all stayed there for a while. We all left and we came to our house. The girls played their game for a little bit and then we headed over to Alicia's house. We walked with her and Andrew to pick up the girls from school. Then we came back to their house, so the kids could play. We went outside to play and that was a lot fun. Girls drove around in the big cars and rode bikes and scooters. We played kick ball. Then we came inside and Alicia made all the kids some dinner. They invited our girls to eat to. We had a fun day! As we were leaving Meagan had a little melt down (she was so tired). We got home and Meagan cried some more and then I gave them an early bath and she was better after that. Daddy came home and us two ate some dinner. Then we played with the girls and we all went to bed. This was an interesting week for us with the experience with the hives. I'm so happy everything is okay now!!!!
