Merry Christmas!! Happy Birthday Jesus!!

Thursday, Dec. 19th, I took the girls to school and after school we came home and I received our Christmas Cards, so the girls played while I got those ready to send out.  Daddy came home and we all left and mailed out our Christmas cards and then we went to eat at Cracker Barrel.  Then we had fun driving around looking at Christmas lights and even found the house that plays to music with changing lights.  We then came home and got ready for bed.  I love the Christmas season!!

Friday, in the morning I dropped the girls off at school and then Daddy met me in the PAC area, so we could watch the Christmas Program.  Meagan is always in the back and Natalie in the front.  They had to sing a bunch of songs.  They did a great job!  Natalie didn't sit down at one point like she was supposed to, little toot.  Meagan had fun singing with the boy next to her.  Daddy left after the girls performed and the girls and I watched some more and we ate a snack.  Then we came home and I packed for Lufkin.  When Daddy got home, we headed out to Grammie's house.  Her house is always so beautiful at Christmas!!  She let the girls each open up two presents to play with.  The girls love to go over there, so funny!  We stayed up a little late playing and they played with some of their new toys in the bath.  Aunt Dana also found a new dog on the streets for Grammie, she named her Merry and she is a super cute and sweet dog, the girls loved her.

Saturday, we slept in a little bit and then the girls wanted to open their presents first thing, so Grammie let them open up the rest of their presents.  They had a blast!  Grammie is so sweet to them.  When everyone else woke up, we went to the Lufkin mall in a bad storm (came out of no where) and Cody, Dana, Grammie, the girls, Daddy and I all ate at Chick-fil-a together and then we all went to see Frozen in 3D.  We loved it even more the second time we saw it!!  Natalie sat on my lap and Meagan sat on Grammie's, then we switched during the middle of the movie.  After the movie, the girls, Daddy and I headed over to Granny's house to visit with her, Grandad, Aunt Caroline, Uncle Mike and to meet baby Ali.  We had a great time and baby Ali is so cute and sweet.  We just loved playing with her!!  The girls opened up some presents from Grandad and Granny and then had fun playing with those.  Very good visit!  Dana and Cody came over for a little bit to.  They headed out and then we left shortly after them to go back to Grammie's house.  They played some more and then we got ready for bed.

Sunday, we hung out with Grammie in the morning and Dana and Cody.  We packed everything up and we ate lunch with Grammie, Dana and Cody at Which Wich.  We then told Grammie bye and thanked her for everything.  Then the rest of us went over to Granny's house to visit with Uncle Dan, Aunt Barbara, Charolette, Baby Ali, Aunt Carolyn, Uncle Mike and Granny.  Aunt Barbara and Aunt Carolyn had some presents for the girls, so they opened that and we had a good time visiting with the family.  Baby Ali was dancing up a storm!!  She is so cute!  Meagan had fun building a castle with Charolette!!  What a great family!  Grandad rode back with us to our house and Daddy dropped us off and unloaded everything and then he took Grandad home.  I unpacked and then Daddy came back home!

Monday, Daddy went to work and the girls and I hung out at the house where I did laundry and cleaned up.  Then we ran some errands and went to HEB and we ran into Trey and Brian there and we met Brian's girlfriend, Jenny.  Good to see them!  Then we came home and unloaded the groceries.  I took the girls to the park to play on their plasma cars they got from Grammie.  Daddy came home and we ate dinner together.  Good day!

Tuesday, Christmas Eve, we played at home and then a little after lunch time, probably around 2pm, Aunt Tara and Uncle Jason showed up and then Oma and Opa shortly after them.  Daddy even got off of work early today to be at home.  We helped everyone unload presents and luggage.  Our front room was filled with presents.  Tara started making lasagna for dinner for later and we all just prepared something.  Then at 5pm it was time to go to the family Christmas Eve service at church and the girls got to sing their 'Ring the Bells' song in front of the church.  It was a good service, Pastor Jerry did talk for a while though, but it was still good and we got to sing a lot of good Christmas songs and it was fun being there with family.  LaLa had even come to sit with us!!  Everyone came to our house afterwards for some yummy dinner and dessert!!  We had a good time visiting and Aunt Tara let the girls open up one gift tonight, some books! :)  Then it was time for everyone to get ready for bed and we told LaLa goodnight.  She was going to come over early tomorrow to see Santa gifts for the girls.  We made some cookies for Santa and put out some milk.  We put out some reindeer food outside our house to feed them.  I totally forgot to read The Night Before Christmas Book that I do every year, oh well, think we will live!  Girls were so excited going to sleep tonight!!

Wednesday, Christmas, the girls woke up and we had them hang out in Oma and Opa's room and playroom while we waited for LaLa to come.  Once she arrived, we had the girls come into the livingroom to see what Santa had brought for them.  They were so excited because Santa brought Meagan a choo choo train and Natalie got a Furby.  They got plenty of other things and had stuffed stockings, they were so excited!  They even got the Disney Infinity game, Stuffies, coloring books, boots and all sorts of things.  They had fun playing with it all!  Then we all had breakfast and talked.  Then it was time to open up all the other presents with all the family and we took turns doing that.  We had fun!!  The girls wanted all their toys opened, so they could play with them right away.  Then we all had a late lunch, we had ham and all the other good food that everyone made.  It was a relaxing day just spending time with each other.  So glad LaLa could spend Christmas with us to.  That evening, Grandad came over to visit and have some food to eat.  LaLa headed out and then Daddy took Grandad home and he came back.  A couple of us played Uno together which was fun and the girls learned how to play it!  Great Christmas!  We even sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and the girls blew out candles in some cupcakes for him!  We had such a great day!!  Merry Christmas!!!
