Monday, December 22nd, the girls and I hung out at the house in the morning well Daddy went to work. We just ate some lunch at the house and then in the afternoon, we went to Navasota to LaLa's house to visit with Terrell and Bryan. We decided to go to Downtown Navasota and we looked in some shops and we walked down Blues Alley and took some neat pictures. Then we went back to LaLa's house and she made us all some dinner. We love when family is in town!! After dinner, we came home with Daddy and we put the Polar Express Train out around our Christmas Tree. It looked really pretty!! Then it was time for bed after the girls played with the train a little bit.
Tuesday, Daddy, the girls and I got up early and we started our drive to Palestine, TX for the Polar Express Train ride!! When we got to Palestine, we met up with LaLa, Terrell and Bryan at a local restaurant and we all ate lunch together. Then we made our way to the Polar Express Train. We walked around for a little bit and then Celeste, Kelly, Cade and Hollan pulled up and we greeted them!! So happy everyone made it safely!! Everyone was in PJ's except for LaLa and Uncle Kelly. We all walked around and took some pictures with the train and then it was time to board the train. "All Aboard". ;) We pretty much had a whole area to ourselves, it was nice. We each got a chocolate chip cookie and they severed us some hot cocoa. We even got to keep the nice mugs!! The kids sat together at a table and loved the train ride and the Polar Express music! I loved the look on their faces, so priceless!! They got to color too!! Once we made it to the 'North Pole', Santa came on our train and gave all the kids a jingle bell. Hollan was terrified of Santa, so funny!!! The rest of the kids were loving it!! We made our way back to Palestine and we had such a fun ride!! We all loved it!!! We got off the train and we all stopped at a gas station in town to use the restrooms and get gas. Kelly's car wouldn't start, so we gave him a jump from our truck. Then we all drove back to our house and everyone came over. We ordered some Chinese Food and we had that for dinner. The kids played with the train and toys. Celeste, Kelly, Cade and Hollan spent the night with us. We had fun!
Wednesday, Christmas Eve, Celeste and Kelly headed out early because they needed to do some errands in The Woodlands. I watched all the kiddos in the morning by myself and we had a good time. Daddy and LaLa were at work, so Terrell and Bryan came to my house to help me watch the kids. We all went to the park to play. We just ate some lunch at the house. Uncle Kelly and Aunt Celeste made it back early afternoon and then Daddy and LaLa came to the house. We all went to our church for the family service tonight to celebrate the birth of Jesus. The girls sang one song in front of everyone, they did good! After church, LaLa went back home and everyone else came over to our house and Grandad came over as well. Aunt Celeste got everything ready for the kids to each make their own cookies for Santa. Then they got to each draw a picture for Santa to have underneath the cookies for Santa. Then we went outside to put some reindeer food out for Santa's reindeer!! We came in and we gave the kids some hot cocoa and popcorn and we all watched Mickey Mouse's Christmas movie. We left the cookies by the fireplace and the milk and then it was time for the kids to go to bed. Then Grandad left and Terrell and Bryan went to LaLa's house. Celeste, Kelly, Daddy and I got things cleaned up and set some things up! Then we went to sleep, so Santa could come visit!!
Thursday, Christmas, we got up and the adults saw that Santa came, so we had to hide the gifts until Terrell, Bryan and LaLa could come over. We all got to see that Santa ate some of the cookies with left him and he drank his milk. When Terrell, LaLa and Bryan came, we got the kiddos to come to the piano room and see all the Santa gifts and stockings. So much cool things!! Games, roller skates. beanie boos, hoover ball, snow globes, glowing stars, coloring things, paper to draw on, candy, gum, a little money, Disney Infinity 2.0 and a Frozen Microphone. Neat things to play with!! That was just what the girls got, Cade and Hollan got some neat things too!! After we did Santa, we had some breakfast and then LaLa, Terrell and Bryan went back to LaLa's and Celeste and Kelly loaded up their stuff and their crew and headed to LaLa's. Then Daddy, the girls and I had our little Christmas together and opened our presents to each other. We had fun!! They got some more board games, more Disney Infinity Characters, movies, dolls, shopkins, mutant things, Digi Birds, little color projector and leap frog reading books. So much more!! Very lucky little girls!! We then headed to LaLa's house to help with our late Christmas lunch. Kelly and Bryan we frying the turkey outside and everyone else was helping with the cooking in the kitchen. I helped with the table set up and the kids even got their own kid table to eat at. The tables and food looked great!! We got the kids their food and then we got ours. LaLa had books at the table of our table gifts. Then we all said a prayer and then we ate our food! So good!! We got to have a nice conversation! Then for the kids dessert, they got cupcakes for Jesus' birthday. We sang happy birthday to Jesus and they blew out their candles and ate their cupcakes. Then the kids each got to open one present and then we all got in our cars and we drove out to LaLa's families farm. We got to walk on land we hadn't before and we got to walk to an over view of the Brazos River. We took a bunch of pictures with the family and the dogs, Charlie and Percy. Pretty land to walk on!! Then we drove again and went to where Great Uncle Bill was burning some trees and the kids helped him find some wood to put in the fire. We had a fun adventure together as a family. Then we came back to LaLa's and it was time for the presents with the kiddos. They got a floor piano, robot dogs and some much other cool things. They had so much fun opening their presents today!!!
