Early Christmas in Lufkin!

Monday, December 15th, Daddy and I were still in Las Vegas, so Opa and Oma were still in charge of the girls.  Oma took the girls to school and she said they got there on time, yay!!  After school, she brought them home and they spent some time with Oma and Opa playing outside and also playing some games.  Mommy and Daddy spent the day walking around Vegas and we ate lunch at Lagasse's Stadium.  We did some gambling too and Mommy did pretty good, so I decided to play on the $5 slot machine and won back some of the money that Daddy and had lost! ;)  That evening we ate dinner with Eddie and Michelle at a nice restaurant called 'STK'.  We had a good time!!  Then we walked around and watched the fake Volcano erupt and then we watched the Fountains to the Christmas music.  I loved it!  Then we walked back to Mandalay Bay and we all got some dessert and we went to our rooms!!  Great time!!
Tuesday, Daddy, Mommy, Eddie and Michelle made our way back home.  We flew back into Dallas and then we stopped to eat a late lunch at In and Out Burger.  We drove home and they dropped us off.  We had such a good time!  It was dark already and we didn't have a key to the house, so we waited for Oma and Opa to get home with the girls from a playdate at McDonald's with Summer and Sadie.  The girls had a great day at school and Marcia came to clean the house today too!!  Everyone was happy we were back home!!
Wednesday, Oma and I took the girls to school and then Oma and Opa headed out to go back home.  Daddy went to work and then I unpacked at the house and did some laundry.  After the girls got home from school, we hung out and played because I missed them!!!  Oma and Opa made it back home safely!!
Thursday, I took the girls to school and they had a great day!  They just love going to school!!  I hope it stays like that!!  After school, I took them to gymnastics and it was the Christmas Theme, so they got their faces painted and played with paper snow balls and such.  They had fun!  We looked at Christmas lights tonight and we also went by the music house.  Daddy came with us to do that!!  The girls also gave us our Christmas Presents from school, Santa Handprints on tiles.  Very cute!!
Friday, I took the girls to school and then came home for a little bit.  Then Daddy and I went to the school together for the Elf on the Shelf Celebration (Christmas Party).  It was so sweet, it was held in the cafeteria and Santa even came.  They first ate a little snack and then they got to practice wrapping presents, they colored on houses, they built Christmas Trees with cups, they sat on Santa's lap and took pictures and they made little elves with their faces on them.  It was a lot of fun!  It was an early release day, so I went ahead and brought them home with me.  We came home and I packed a little.  They played and when Daddy got home that afternoon, we made our way to Lufkin to Grammie's house.  She let the girls open up a couple of their Christmas presents already, she is so funny.  The girls were so excited!!  We all stayed up late talking and the girls played with some of their presents.  It was good to see Cody, Grammie and Dana!!
Saturday, the girls got to open all their presents from Grammie, Dana and Cody in the morning.  They got American Girl Dolls and clothes and beds to go with them.  It was awesome!!  Then Natalie and Meagan went with Grammie to Hobby Lobby and got some crafts for all the kids to do tonight at dinner.  Then after lunch time, we went over to Granny's house to visit with her and Aunt Carolyn.  It was good to see them!!  The girls opened some presents from Granny and played with them.  I also played outside with Natalie for a while and she loved it!!  Then we went back to Grammie's house and we got ready for dinner that evening.  Grammie was having Daddy's side of the family over for dinner and she ordered 'Olive Garden' to feed everyone.  Pretty much everyone was there and Terrell and Bryan drove in as everyone was getting to Grammie's.  It was good to see everyone and talk for a little bit.  The girls opened presents from Aunt Barbara and Aunt Carolyn.  They got to play with all their second cousins on this side of the family except for Kadin, he was not there.  It was Caroline, Charlie, Charlotte, Claire, Lila, Anna and Alli.  They had fun!  After everyone left, we got the girls ready for bed and then we opened our presents from Dana, Grammie, Cody and Sam and they opened theirs.  We had fun visiting!!!
Sunday, Uncle Bryan's Birthday, we all got up and ate some breakfast and visited for a little bit.  We packed up all the new things and the girls played with Grammie.  Then we all got dressed and we ate lunch at Café Del Rio with Grammie, Terrell, Bryan, Cody, Dana, Dan and Barbara.  We had fun talking and catching up.  Then after lunch we told everyone bye and then Terrell and Bryan and Dana and Cody followed us over to Granny's house.  We got to visit with her, Aunt Carolyn, Uncle Mike, Kate, Cody and Alli again.  Then we headed out on the road and made it back home and we got dressed to go eat with LaLa, Terrell and Bryan at Napa Flats for Bryan's Birthday Dinner.  We had a good time, we even got to have some ice cream!!  We told them goodnight and then we came home and unpacked and went to bed!!  We had a great time with our Lufkin family!!
